We sat down to eat and ordered our drinks. While the waitress was getting our drinks my husband showed me this big roach crawling on the front of the cooler. Needless to say we paid for our drinks and left. Disgusting!!!!

I called this store 20 times for a Togo order and the phone was busy. I no it dont take that long to take an order over the phone. So I call the one in monkhouse and they picked up on the first ring. Sounded busy in the background but still made time to answer the phone and take my order.
Terrible service, nasty bathrooms, salad old with lettuce in descomposición, tbone with hair. Waffles with tomate piece. Poor customer service.
this Waffle House crew is a disgrace. The floor is messy and the counter is messy too, trash and plates everywhere. Waited forever to get my drink and waited over 10 mins to order my food. Obviously the people working tonight aren't cut out for this job!

Went to this establishment at 3am.Yes the bars just closed, but we waited for over 15min while we saw several tables just sitting with dirty dishes all over them. The servers were too busy just visiting with people already seated to clean off tables for Iincoming patrons. The servers showed the poorest service Ive ever seen. When I confronted one, she told us to sit at one covered with dirty dishes. She went to clean it off, got rude, so we left without eating. Poorest service I have ever seen in my life!!!!!!
worst experience ever, didn't cook anything right, waitress didn't try tending to customers (five in all) and cook had issues, didn't even get the right food that was ordered
The manager is so fun and the staff is great. I get my food fast and always get a laugh. They really enjoy each other and their customers.

This is absolutely foul. I would not eat the food if you do not want to get sick. Trust me I am a previous employee and they are very unsanitary in the freezer and cooler. They leave bacon and sausage out for hours waiting to be stacked and put into coolers that are severley leaking. Please be warned and you may want to go on down to the lacal Dennys or IHOP!
Its sad that the restaurant is in such bad shape. The coffee is warm at best, water is always leaking on the floor. The place is always dirty...

Me and my maw come in here to eat at this establishment once a week and are pleased with the waitresses and food. There is one waitress that we really like and her name is Minnie. She is sweet and very attentive. We don't have to wait around for anything. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to eat.
Tonight we visited the Waffle House on 5th st in St.Charles MO. The food was good as normal but we has an issue with the manager. Once the food arrived my wife was given gritts that she did not order. She has never been able to stomach them since childhood and did NOT order them. Upon being served she stated to the waitress she did not order them as another cook brought my sons food which also contained gritts he did not order. The cook stated she was in charge and ALL plates come with them. We have been eating at waffle house for several years and have never had this problem. The " acting manager" told my wife "not to get snotty with her", and she would scrape them off the plate. She then took the food back and removed the gritts and returned the rest of the food on the same plates, and walked away. She later returned to our table with a 10 % off coupon. I was very disappointed in the "managers" response and lack of professionalism she displayed as well as her management skills to resolve a simple issue.
My family and eat breakfast at this location every Saturday. Yes, every Saturday! The food is always great and the service is awesome! Everyone is always in a great mood and the atmosphere is very inviting and amiable. Great service!!!
Called to get an order from this waffle house. Called a couple before this one to see if I had the right location. They weren't as friendly at all and simply hung the phone up without help. The lady who took my order was very friendly, helpful, patient and you could feel her smile over the the phone. This is what good customer service is. I will be ordering from here again soon!
Great place to eat....and great service. Even when they are really busy the food is fast, hot and they get the orders right...... On the other hand DON'T go to the other location a few miles north of this one. They have HORRIBLE service even when there is only one or two tables of patrons.
Ate at the one at 295 yesterday.... GREAT service even tho it was rush hour. (Sat 11am) Fast forward to today (Sun 2:30) Place was almost empty. The man that waited on us didn't even deserve the $2.00 tip we left on the $21 bill (yesterday left a $6 tip on $24) Ordered hash browns with onions but the cook said he no onions because he "couldn't cook and chop" at the same time..all while the manager is walking around doing NOTHING. We won't be back to this location...EVER
The food and service is good.But we have had several experiences with silverware not being clean and even some coffee rings left on cups. We think all restaurants should have a dishwasher not only for cleanness but health reasons.
Food was good. Service was less than desirable.our food items came out one at time, so we didn't have a complete meal. Son left his electronic device on the table and none of the staff can recall seeing it. We were the only party on that side of the restaurant.
We go to many Waffle houses when we travel... this is by far the worst. There is grease and gook build up all over the legs of the tables and chairs, stuff hanging from them... nasty. The food is not that bad but I cannot eat in a place as dirty as the Waffle house on Central Ave. It definitely needs cleaned.
Of all waffle house few have been as good as this experience we have enjoyed visiting it while down in this area!
I had the pleasure of having breakfast three mornings at this location and was thrilled at the food and, friendly staff. The cook was never under any stress... he was just plain cool. The three different girls that waited on my wife and I were perfect in every way. We really enjoyed our stay at the Quality Inn. Not at the motel but being close to walk to breakfast at your Waffle House. I am your secret tipper girls!!!
This place is run like a well oiled machine! Impressive! Talk about team work covered and smothered with enthusiasm! I'm impressed!

I should have known to leave when the waitress was in the entrance smoking and the parking lot was empty. Upon walking in I see two other ladies. All of the tables had a greasy film across them except one, which is where we sat. My family of four ordered two ribeye breakfasts, four waffles with sides of bacon and a bacon buscuit. The meats all came first. The steaks were fatty, cooked to done, full of fat, and looked as if it had been cut on. I have fed my dog things that looked better and would have been ashamed to serve it. The bacon was burned in the middle and the fatty ends comparable to raw. The biscuit with bacon was soggy, chewy, and had a smell I can not quite describe. The waffles came a full six minutes after the meats and were the only thing really edible. The scrambled eggs were over cooked and the over easy eggs my husband ordered had the yellow done. I will never, ever, step foot in this location again. It's very sad because I am a huge Waffle House fan. Stay away. Forty two dollars later, I am sick!
The manager was rude. she yelled at her employees on the floor! that is very disrespectful not only to them but to us as costumers. Next was what she was yelling about. THE COOKS USING TO MANY GLOVES! god forbid they care about our health. Finally i looked down on the floor and there were at lease 50 roaches. This place should be shut down ASAP!

I walked in to eat and study at the same time and the mean lady behind the counter asked me if I came in to study and when I said yes she told me that I can only sit at the counter. The chair was high and uncomfortable for me to read. There were two people and a lot of chairs for me to sit down but she tole me that they are not available to me. I never felt disrespected to get a service before.

After 73 years of dining in, and dining out, I can say without reservation that this Waffle House is my favorite dining establishment of all. Managers, Servers, and "Door Corps" are friendly and professional. They have become part of our (wife and I) family. We eat there an average of five (5) times a week.
One exception is a server named Cheryl (sp?). She has quit twice and been re-hired.....has caused at least two good servers to quit, and I refuse to sit in her area.
One of your employees has a little side business while she is waitressing at work. She sells expired fudge to drunk customers for $5 a pop. My cousin purchased 2 last night from her. She is very secretive about it. We didn't even realize until today it is expired. My cousin even tipped her $20 on our $45 ticket last night. I was the DD bringing my friends there to eat and sober up and she took advantage of them with her little fudge business.
Why is it so cold in this location always? Your food gets cold before you can eat.
I recently ate at this Waffle House in a full house situation, and they only had three people working. A man named Jeff was working both as a waiter and a chef. Even if the food was slightly late, it was very well prepared.

My husband and I stopped in early Sat morning while traveling. Three employes were standing outside smoking and when they all went back on non of them even washed there hands before the started to work. The coffee was the worst, the pecan waffles were gummy and there wa so much grease on the home fries it was ridiculous. The windows were so dirty you could not even see out of them. I don't think I have ever been in such a nasty Waffle House before. Never again, just drive right on past this one.
Ive been n this establishment for over and hour and a half. i have been waitin on my check for twenty mins. It took ten mins to get service. When i did get my food it was wrong. My server spent all her time on the other side of the restuarant. At someone elses table. Told me and my husband we would have to wait becaause of their order n we were here first. How rude!!!!!!!

We used to come to this waffle house quite often The service was great the waitresses loved us But we just left there after sitting for 10 minutes They didn't even greet us walking the door We were past several times no one even ask for drink order. So we got up and left Mind you I'm in crutches so wasn't like we walked out the door in two seconds No one even said anything as we were going out the door me my fiancé and my three-year-old daughter Are now at Bob Evans
The place takes you back to the 60's. Very basic genre. Good food - everything is fresh. The waitress was very conscientious and concerned about our satisfaction. The waffle was excellent, eggs were good, coffee was excellent. Would highly recommend to anyone who needs a "real breakfast."

The food here is excellent. I had pecan waffles that were delicious. My husband ate an Angus burger that he described as the best ever. Even better was the service. All of the staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. We stayed next door at the Holiday Inn Express prior to boarding a cruise the next day. Our late-night meal at the Waffle House was the perfect start to our vacation.
This has to be the most uncleanliness restaurant I have ever been to. The board of health needs to go check on this Waffle House . The waitresses do not wash hands like they should. They handle money and food without washing hands. And the place is never clean! Board of health needs to show up unexpectly and in disguise. Shut this location down or improve!

First of all let me start by saying that I had never heard of waffle house coming from CA, but i am sold. The store was extremly well cleaned, friendly staff, and the food was not successfully perfection. I am very picky about cleanliness when deciding where i should eat, and this store was beautifully cleaned. The staff were fast, helpful, as well as friendly. The food was just what i wanted; a good old fashioned american breakfest. I'm sold on waffle house and recommend it to everyone. At least try it once you will not be disappointed.
