Why bother having a store if you don't wait on customers

Walked in to buy an iphone 5 (long time 5 phone customer). Three sales guys at the front desk on their phones. I looked at iphone for 5 minutes and walked out when I figured that they weren't looking to sell phones & didn't want to beg.

Very pleased with service!

Went there because my Motorola smartphone froze up several time in wifi hot spot mode. Manager Kevin Rose was very helpful in explaining problem (even smartphones are weak when being used as wifi hotspots), and recommending another plan with a Jetpack hot spot so the phone does not function as one. Total monthly cost about the same as before. I would recommend this store, and would go back there again.

I had issues with the store in lebanon and i just threw my hands in the air and gave up... i called the claremont store and they asked me to come to their store.. they fixed the issue within 5min... lebanon store insisted there was "nothing they could do" and obviously that was wrong! Claremont office is out of my way but ill go there from now on!

Service Complaint

Since Oct/1/12,I called in five times concerning an Autopmt Update for my new Visa. I've been waiting for 4 mos until Feb4,13,the autopmt got in but the incorrect way. It charged me only $2.88 out of $110.88 of the amt due. During the 4month period,I've been calling and transferred to many reps in financial &customer service Depts and the last one (a man) on Feb7 hung up on me.I called back again and the rep told me that she would leave mgmt a message from me. I kept telling that I want to obtain the customer service supervisor number and the email address for complaining, but nobody can fulfill that request. Verizon needs to really improve the way its serve customers so that nobodyelse has to suffer bad service like me. Verizon also neads to officially print contact info for complaining on its website and billing statements. I hope that this comment will be taken seriously to improve the company customer service. Thank you.

CSR lady was very rude from the moment I walked in. She had an attitude with all of her statements and questions and kept prodding as to why I did not know what number I was going to be getting on my phone. Very dissatisfied with the treatment I received today.

Fantastic Customer Service!

In general, I hate going to cell phone stores. However, the experiences that I have had at this store have been among the best experiences of customer service I have experienced anywhere. The employees are extremely helpful, patient, and eager to please. After my family and I got all new cell phones, we received both follow-up calls and a real live handwritten thank you card in the mail inviting us to be in touch if we had further questions and thanking us for our business. This is exactly what customer service should be. Stop dealing with Verizon reps at other stores who don't care about you, and come to this store for some good ol' fashioned customer service. If I could give more than 5/5 stars, I would!

Rude Employees

Your employees need a little more training on how to treat customers if there job intales customer service. I called to speak to a manager and a girl answered when i wouldn't tell her what the corcern was about she quickly answered rude he wont be here tomorrow and i said ill juat call back another time didn't let me finish talking and hung up. I honestly think that is very disrespectful because i still had other concerns. I will defenetly let the owner know i have never been treated like this by any verizon employee before.

Not an Official Verizon Dealer

They are NOT an official Verizon store. Which is quite misleading seeing how it looks like they sell only Verizon stuff, and have a giant Verizon logo on the store front.

Service was terrible, forced me to use my store credit from my iPhone 4 trade-in right then and there! Basically forcing me to buy accessories I didn't want..

I was strongly urged into getting a jet pack, which I kept saying I didn't really need. When I tried to return it 5 days later they stilll tried to talk me into keeping it. I returned in 8 days later and they forgot to disconnect the service but charged me the $50.00 restocking fee. They only seemed to care about selling items not helping customers. this store is not a true Verizon store, which I found out the hard wayl.

Good people, but watch the up-sell.

The last time I went in (today), I wanted to replace my iphone 4. They didn't have any. I was due for an upgrade, and figured, ok, I'll pay the $99 and get the 4s. They didn't have that either. These retailers are suppose to be there for convenience. How is it convenient when they want you to pay hundreds of dollars, and not just swap your phone one for one? It's not like these models are being phased out. The actual Verizon store has plenty of both. They just want to up-sell and make a larger profit.

There isn't a no star rating or else I would have given them it. You have to give at least one star to submit this review. These men that run this store do not know what they are doing. They are salesmen but do not know how to set up or help you with your phone. Never go to a Verizon Premium Store. They add charges that a Verizon store does not. Please avoid this location and any other Premium Store.

Poor Customer Service

This is the 4th or 5th time I have used this location and each time I am surprised by the poor customer service. One sales rep was chomping gum while talking to another customer, another sales rep sighed heavily when a customer came through the door, and I overheard a sales rep tell a customer how much he hated the i-phone. In fact, the customer looked extremely uncomfortable as he told her how much he hated the i-phone. I guess too bad for her since that was the phone she had. Clearly they are there either for a paycheck or commission because customer service is not on their priority list. Since I work in a service industry, I assume other companies have to strive for excellent customer service as well. Clearly that is not true. Unfortunately this is a poor reflection on Verizon whom I've been a loyal customer for years.

Great service!

I have had Sprint service for several years, and had considered switching to verizon. Walked in the store tonight to talk to someone, and met Zach, an account executive there. Wow, this kid was so knowledgeable and helpful it was almost laughable compared to the service I'd received for years now with Sprint. I'll definitely be switching my service over next week. I love good customer service and you don't find it very often anymore. Thank you Verizon! Thank you Zach!

Very unprofessional , extremely poor service

My phone, that I took insurance on took over a month to resolve, and it was ever resolved. The replacement never worked correctly, ordered me a new one, when I went to pick up the new one they gave me the old one back, when I called them back, they knew they ave me the wrong one but never tried to get in touch with me. I found the management to be unprofessional , when I asked to speak to the owner, I was told he would call me, but never heard back from him. Since you will have your phone, I would suggest you shop at another Verizon store.

Incompetent

How can someone who sells phones for a living not know that the info and settings from the old phone be seamlessly transferred to a new phone by restoring a back up. Instead the salesman had me sync my data which has nothing to do with how the phone was set up. I will be sending them the bill from my IT guy. I am miserably unhappy.

Unsatisfactory Experience Every Time

I don't know if it is because they predominantly service populations of color, but the customer service in this store is abysmal. Every time I go into this store, I regret it. It is as if the staff there have no authority to replace defective equipment or to accommodate requests. Unfortunately, the poor customer service is specific to this store as I have traveled to other stores with better outcomes and service. Please address this issue immediately.

Ok

People are nice but didn't seem to know about promotions at all when asked. Also it is absolutely ridiculous that you have to sign in and wait to return something that takes 2 seconds. Suggestion- have someone manning the desk for returns/ simple questions. And anyone buying a phone or will take longer than 10 min- have them sign in and wait 30-40 min to be helped. They need to learn to manage the store better!

I think is stinks that you walk in to your office and 1st thing you do is take your phone off the hook. I have been trying for 5 hours to call to simply find out the model number of your fios box. There are all sorts of numbers but no model. Your gonna make me drive all the way down to your one location. The next time will be to return it!

Bad service

Came into the store a couple days ago. Wanted to pay my bill and get the military spec phone for my husband. I have a toddler so it's hard to keep him entertained in a Store. There were three salespeople working. They all had customers. I sat down and waited and waited. But it wasn't the wait that was upsetting. It was the fact that not one of them even looked up and said..hi I'll be right with you. How are you?... Nothing. So one of the three finishes with his customer and goes to the back room. Still nothing said to me..,.will be right with you. Thanks for waiting...nothing.. I few more minutes go by and I see him just standing in the doorway of the back room. I finally ask "can you help me" long story short I did not buy any phone from this store. Just wanted to pay my and take my son home at this point. And the salesman let know me he didn't have change, and that it was an extra dollar to pay cash. Nice final touch buddy!! Won't be back don't worry

Amazing service

I walked into this store because it was close by. Other Verizon locations are always crowded and there is a long wait. I was so pleasantly greeted, helped through a set up process for my new 4G phone and very satisfied with my entire visit. Stormy, the Verizon employee, is fantastic, so helpful and knowledgeable. He should be voted the best employee of the year and that's from one visit. He is amazing!

Great/Exceptional Customer Service from Noah White

I lost my phone in Milford Ohio, very stressed as I use my phone for my own business. I was in Chester Ohio, stopped at a verizon store to do a claim, the young guy was not very nice did my claim, said he did not have a phone he could loan until my other phone was mailed, I asked him what was i going to do, it is my business phone?! He took the time (not real happy) to look up where to get a loaner he said the Florence Mall had one?? It was raining and dark, I was driving back to Lexington, Kentucky - it is Christmas the Mall was PACKED! The Verizon store was very busy, a young man (Noah White) wonderful from start to finishe; not once did he say they did not have a phone to loan me, he said better yet since you need all of your contacts etc.. I will loan you my old SMART phone; because the other phones they loaned were older models and could not load my contacts etc.. I was IMPRESSEd! I have been to many verizons stores and this was the best experience I have ever had!!! Thank you Noah for going the extra mile!!

What is with Verizon and esp this store. They DO NOT want the senior customer. I use my phone for calls and text. Got no where when I went to this store for a new phone. As seniors we pay our bills use the service and just want a little customer service once every couple years. Customer Service is excellent!

I love this Verizon store. Their service is excellent. I bought my cell phone here years ago. The phone was dropped once, and it still continued working, but all of a sudden it stopped. I needed a new phone right away since I had to travel for work. They called Verizon company to replace a new one for me. They gave me a better phone. They went out of their way to make sure I received a new phone at my East Coast office, since I have to travel there for conference for few days. Very professional and reliable people. I am coming back for an iPhone5. I would recommend this store to my friends.

Bad customer service

I am eligible for an upgrade on the 6th of December. I went in because I'm trying to decide in advance if the Note 2 is too big for me to use. Of course it has this big security device on the back. I really need to hold this phone to make my decision. The sales lady came out and asked did I need some help. I told her about my upgrade coming up, probably a big mistake since they are on commision, and she knew she wasn't making a sale that night. I asked is there anyway I can hold the Note 2 without the thing on the back.

Now I understand if it's just not possible to take that off and if you don't have any in stock. But I expect some sort of explanation, maybe an I'm sorry, maybe let me know when you are getting some in so I can come look. But when I asked, the lady just simply said no. Nothing else, no explanation of why. I'm left to try and reason out why I want to cause she made me feel foolish for asking with the way she said it.

I won't buy from this store. Go above and beyond or go home, I can get my phone elsewhere.

Never answers their phone!!!

If you have a problem or an issue you are better off going straight to the store and waiting in line... I honestly think they take their phones off the hook because I have NEVER once called and got through on the phone! Very bad service!

Absolutely terrible service, extremely slow to react, promises, promises and every bill gets higher. Always too busy to talk to you. Promise a call back and do not! Calls often transfer from store to other out of state Verizon personnel. Auto-phone system is pitiful and intentionally set-up to discourage you from communicating with them. You pay outrageously high bills for this!!!!! Go to another provider quick!!!! MC

Don't use this store!

Run, don't walk away from this Verizon store. I have given them the benefit of the doubt several times and returned knowing that their service is beyond inferior. Their employees are rude and condesending and the lines to get help are hours long. This is no exaggeration. I'm honestly surprised that Corporate allows them to carry their name. Use one of the Verizon corporate stores instead. You'll be glad you did.

Consistently Excellent Service with Heart

I just had to write this comment in appreciation of really experienced, professional and plain human service that Todd and Armen provide to their customers. I have been at the store number of times this months with my new IPhone and even with my mother and her phone and every single time these guys went above and beyond what I needed in expertise, advice, patience and enthusiasm. It is obvious that they like helping people of all ages. I have observed their attitude with customers and its always being consistent and impartial. I don't know how they do it, but it is rare combination of knowledge and heart and I am sure that I am not the only one that appreciates it.

Frustrating Transaction

I had two transactions with this store. The people are pleasant but don't know as much as they need to. Each time I was in the store for an hour or more. "Glitches in the system" and lots of calls to techs at Verizon finally got the problems resolved. Many people standing around giving advice without really knowing what to do. Hope my new Verizon contract has fewer problems.

My husband called me today the second after he left this store to tell me how awful it was. There were 3 employees there who did not offer any help. They were also completely incompetant and rude. Will never return there and will also post our opinions on Facebook, as well. We normally use the Welsh rd. location that is absolutely wonderful. Very helpful employees. Many people that we know also agree that is the best verizon location. We have never been impressed with the Abington location either.
