I had two pieces of mail dated February 2013...arrived my mailbox May 10, 2013. Called and spoke to a Supervisor, her reply was just "we do not hold mail". She never asked my address...or name...etc.
i think this post office needs new employees or needs to be investigated, thet always change rules of operation. and i git paid once and never recieved y check. they checked the acctng office as well as my office , No Check!!!!! theives
Forget using the phone number they have because they never answer and don't relie on there track a package because its always wrong so in my opinion THEY SUCK!!!!!

I mailed a package Priority Mail with tracking after hours, dropping the package in the box to be picked up the next day. I somehow lost my receipt with the tracking number on it. When I called the Ogden Post Office, they told me there was no way to get the package back to retrieve the tracking number, but on a chance, I went to the Book Road Post Office the next morning, where the package was mailed, and the guy behind the counter told me that the packages hadn't been picked up yet, asked me to describe it, and asked about the recipient. He went to the back and a few minutes later, came back with the package, allowing me to copy the tracking number. Above and beyond! It was such a relief to now have the proof that I mailed the package if needed.
Bad Service. Never deliver certified mail. Always leave notices
I thought this post office was good compared to the one by my house Lawrence & Western is the worst. I went to get passports for my daughters and took an hour to talk to someone and then they said I needed another paper which I had called and never told me about and went online and they said nothing about needing this paper she said I needed. I ended up driving to this post office and was in and out in 10 minutes. And sure enough the person said I did NOT need that paper. Trying to call this post office does take a while to get through.
I am having trouble receiving my mail. My lawyer sent very important documents April 29th to my home residents concerning my mortgage. Non of my mail is being forwarded nor is it being returned back to the lawyer.
they are NOTORIOUS for losing things(packages,mail...) they spend more time joking around and bs-ing then attending to customers resulting in the line going out the door and many of the customer service agents are lacking customer service skills
this place doesn't even care if you get the package or not. it doesn't even deliver anything right. all they do is blame each other until the customer gets tired of going back and forth.
The women are rude...ESPECIALLY the postmaster. When you call or go there and ask her for help with something, they all treat you like you're a second class citizen, rolling their eyes, or making little grunt noises and sighs. One time they were so rude to an elderly woman trying to send a package to Poland that I finally said something. I cringe at the thought of going in there to do anything else but check my P.O. Box.
Do not trust this location with your mail. I went to mail my rent check to my landlords po box which is located there and they lost it. How can you lose an envelope that belongs to a po box 10 feet away???? So now I am being charged late fees by my landlord for the post office's screw up.
The Post Master and her fellow employees are the most conscientious, efficient and friendly,people in the entire United States of America. If theire were more dedicated workers like the girls in Bliss then the US Post Office would not have any financial problems. Codo's for the great service they provide.
I am so tired of receiving other neighbors mail for the wrong address. Just recently I ordered a Mother's Day gift for my mother and delivery confirmation states the item has been delivered and had not. This is not the only time our mail person has been very negligent with merchandise this household has ordered. I am really tired and hope something is done. Service is terrible.
Letters addressed to other addresses are continually delivered to my address; packages supposed to be delivered to my address are continually not delivered and end up missing; vacation mail put on hold is delivered while the hold is in place and mail supposed to be delivered at the time the mail hold is lifted are not delivered. I cannot understand how this system is so inept. Truly unbelievable.
The delivery person for Border Brook Rd, is a liar and a complete...idiot he is always delivery packages to the wrong address, it is obvious that he can not read. he is extremely lazy because if he has to delivery anything to your front door especially if you live upstairs, he will not even attempt to deliver, he'll just update the status: delivery attempt, and return it to the post office.... I hope that the government budget cuts, cause him to be the first to lose his job! One that he clearly does not respect nor honor.....

So I called because I just had general questions about my package the lady that answered was extremely rude and cut me off every other word. I asked to speak to a manager and in a rude tone yelling at me said "I AM THE MANAGER!!!" will never use that location again and will be reporting it to BB
After general trips to the post office with different needs having to be meet here's what I've discovered: I have found services there to always be far more than acceptable at the front counters. They are always polite, obliging, friendly and even humorous at times. They see when their lines are long, and yet they seem to never even reflect a bothersome, and unsociable disposition. Their readiness to assist makes those of us standing in 8th place in line, take ease that we’ll be given the same individual care sourcing out to those ahead of us. Those of us living in the area as well as visitors passing through really are very privileged to have our postal needs in such adequate and capable hands.
This location never answers their phone or return calls when you leave your number. :-(

Called to find out about package. Had to call 3 times as lady answering said I had the wrong #. Same lady each time. Very rude when I did get her to help look for package they had and had sent back. I send a letter to my friend with priory mail from greensboro to Harrisburg with correct address sender and receiver since 4/17/13 .the we steel don't get the letter I call many times here in greensboro , and Harrisburg . Please do something. Am not happy at all.
Well we all know that the USPS is downsizing and needs money, so you can't really blame the staff for their two or three window people. When i went in there was a very attractive young brown haired man with a beard who was just so pleasant to talk to, and he knew exactly what I needed to do to ship my package. He was very helpful and fast with his work. The Post Office needs more employees like him. Overall, they do good work and help all of their customers in need.

on 4/26/13 at 1:31 PM I was traveling East over he 164th street and I-5 I seen a postal truck #0226173 with his window down smoking, then flipping his ashes out side the window while traveling.

The worst post office ever, I've been living here a year now & since then it's been pure hell. I've lost over 5 packages that they just didn't deliver, they never ever answer the phone. Whenever i order something I have to pray that I receive it. I call consumer affairs every time they lose something & was promised a check for 2 packages that they lost, never received that check & it was last year ugh i hate them

This station is the worst USPS installation in San Juan, metro area. It is dirty, employees are sloppy, and they misplace and lose letters and forms. If you have to submit a Change of Address form, for example, don't take it there... (if you want to receive your mail in your new address). Puerto Rico's Postmaster must take actions soon!
Express is slow & they make mistakes
I had a package sent from my mother. I did not get a slip to pick it up until well after the expected delivery date. The slip said," sorry we missed you," supposably they came by my house to deliver it, which was a lie, because I am always home. I do not work, I am a stay at home mommy, and girlfriend. So there is no way they " missed" me. The slip itself said I could not pick up my package until the following day, even though they already had it. The actual package was destroyed. The box was completely tore up. No explanation was given.
They don't answer the phone, and to make matters worse they do not have a quick answering machine if any at all. The phone will ring forever. this is during their open times.
I called this post office about a piece of mail address to 21236 & showing as delivered in Fredericksburg, VA. The clerk I talked to was pathetic & called me a liar & said it was missent, even though I have a receipt showing where the mail was addressed to.

I ordered two things on amazon and it took forever and that wasn't even the worst part.....delivery was for the 22 of April and it didn't arrive.so I tracked it and it said delivery attempted!!! They didn't even leave a notice on my door or in the mailbox so if I didn't check amazon I never would have known so now I have to go pick it up service is ridiculous!!!

I am in the process of moving to Florida and on 12/26/2012, I shipped about 13 -14 boxes to Florida. When first walking into the PO, the rep was quite rude. He told me that my boxes could be inspected and I told him that I didn't care. (There was no need in arguing with him because they are going to do what they are going to do.)
I did not realize that they were going to destroy my items. When I rec'd my boxes, they had been busted open, or opened and not resealed. My glassware was broken. It look like they just took my boxes and took the stuff out and dropped it on the floor. My items were not repairable. I took all the boxes to the Post Office here in Florida and was told that I would have to find items that looked like what I had broken and file my claim, I had 90 days and to be sure my claim was postmarked by the 89th day and it was.
Much of my stuff was given as gifts from my mom and grandmother and are keep sakes and the post office had no busines destroying my stuff.
It is not my fault that they are short handed and because that counter person was a jerk had had no business destroying my stuff.
Mind you, I had shipped before from Amherst and other places and nothing was ever broken.
I HOPE THEY CLOSE THIS POST OFFICE. THEY HAVE NO BUSINESS BEING OPEN AND ALL SHOULD LOOSE THEIR JOBS.

I have literally watched these people come to my apartment with no package and place a pickup slip in the mailbox on many occasions. They do not even attempt to deliver the package. This time it has been a week and I tried to arrange redelivery but they simply took the slip and never delivered. Whenever I go to the actual office they are 30 minutes late opening the office and then the make you stand there for a long time, and then are very rude to you. i hate this place

I agree totally wit the last comment...these ppl in there act like they don't wanna help let alone be there working!!! You have to get nasty with them just to get some type of attention and care!

Worst (I hope) post office ever! Only open 6.5 hours and take a hour and 15 minute lunch break. Also this brake is not posted and happens at different times everyday. No wonder they're going bankrupt.
i live on w.comm.blvd.between cedar swamp & diamond road.i have lived there for 14 years.my name and address are clearly displayed on my mailbox.for the time that i have lived here my neighbors and i have had nothing but problems with our mail carrier Billy.he constantly puts the wrong mail in our mailboxes.we have complained numerous times to the post office and nothing other than"we'll speak to him" is ever done.i have received my neighbors credit card and bank statements,the list goes on and on.if the post office ever wonders why people do not use the mail service,this guy is the poster child.this is only a small sample of what we go through with this guy.
If every PO was as service oriented and capable as the Southeastern PA PO, the PO would be rolling in money

I've been calling for 2 solid weeks and have NEVER gotten anyone to answer the phone, even though the sign in the location says to call to schedule an appointment for passport applications.
I was helped by Mark Kessinger on April 15. He was helpful and I appreciated his kindness on such a busy day. My Grandpa appreciated his helpfulness in satisfying a customers desire. Thank you again, Mark, for going that extra mile and understanding his wishes.
They're all awful there. They are slow and rude. Also they have repeatedly left my packages in my driveway where they have been stolen even after I have complained. They're all just terrible from top to bottom.

I have never experienced better service in any other US Post Office. I had always received extremely poor service at all other Post Offices I have visited. Since I first visited this Post Office, I make the trip here even though is a little further from my house than other post offices. I feel lucky I have found this Post Office, and I hope USPS begins hiring more employees of this quality.
I love going to this Post Office. It's like stepping into past, the staff is terrific, very helpful and nice. I love the old counter between the staff and the customer, you can just feel the history of thousands of transactions. It's a treat going there!!
The Hoffman Post Office is terribly unprofessional. They gave me a package that was torn to shreds, told me that it had been an error on their part, and did not do anything to reimburse me for the damaged product or even apologize for the money that they had cost me. I recently moved out of the area and have set up a forwarding address with them. They must hold on to my mail for awhile before forwarding it because I have had to pay late fees because I receive the forwarded bill in the mail after the payment is due. Their hours make it very difficult for any working person to utilize their services. Just because you are located in a small town does not mean that you do not have to be professional!!!!!

These folks just don't know what "customer service" is about. From the carriers, to the supervisors, all the way up to the PostMaster herself. They are complacent and unwilling to help. It's no wonder the USPS is stopping Saturday deliveries. In no time, they'll be out of business for the NON service they provide!
I've visited this site several times a month service at this location is extremely slow, agent spend too much time chatting and talking to customers. Lines are always long and customers always complaining about the wait.
This post office is terrible. I put in a request for a mail key for my new apartment THREE weeks ago and they still don't have it and cant even give me a time or reason why its taking so long. The Phone number works but no one ever answers and I have been there three times over the last month and each time I have over an hour wait and leave empty handed.
I have tried for days to get 41 wigwam ave post office by phone. I have tried many other phone numbers. no one will answer phone calls. I don't live in their back yard and had a importune question. I really hate your system.
Friday and tuesday the mail lady has been putting 927 &929 e st mail in our box and our address is 921 e st. please let her know. We know candy and hes real good about giving us our mail. But, she walks by and then comes back like two times. She needs to look at the address on the house before she puts mail in the box. please make a note of it.
Edna is extremely rude and the customer service received was horrible. I have NEVER had anyone talk to me as rude as she did and for absolutely no reason. Apparently the employees of the us postal service do not learn customer service skills.

Twice within the last two years the people at the Satellite Beach Post Office have screwede up forwarding my mail. These people don't tell the truth and never admit they are wrong, even when they are proven so. People like those at the Satellite Beach location are the reason the Post Office is doing so poorly. If the governments is looking for a Post Office to close I would offer the follow suggestion ... move the people from Satellite Beach to the Post Office that is to be closed so that the Satellite Beach people will lose their jobs and not those at the other location ... because no other Post Office in this country is run as poorly as this locationj.

I find the employees there to be hardworking and extremely accommodating. I use their services regularly and they never seem to have an "off" day.
My tracking number indicates that a parcle was delivered -but i did not receive any-i called the post office many times-they put me on hold many times-and i was not able to find out anything about my parcle!!!!!!

They are the worse! I was unable to add my P.O.Box to my online account and they did not know how to fix it. They kept telling me I have to use the same credit card but I was explaining to them it will not let me get that far. Then when I asked the lady is she familiar with the online service she did not say anything. I am out of town and have to get someone to go in the office to pay my P.O. Box all becasue they do not know what they are doing and did not even try to find out. If it was not for my business I would change. Do NOT GO TO THIS POST OFFICE!

Constantly putting mail in wrong mailboxes. Driving around with packages for days, and not delivering them. I would rate less than one star if it were available.

It is a shame when you go to the website to get a phone number to your local post office and when you call the number is a fax number...all because you have a package that wasn't delivered to my door and there wasn't a card left but when I tracked my order online it says the local post office tried delivery but THEY NEVER DID...ans now I have no way to call
I have tried in vain to not go to the Jackson, NJ US Post Office, because every time I do, I always get awful customer service. I have greeted them with a smile and in return, they respond with a loud, harsh tone and don't want to be bothered with helping guide customers in the right direction. Today, one of the clerks kept telling me "just fix it" when I pleaded with her to help me how to "fix it". She wouldn't help at all. She had no desire to listen to what I was trying to explain to her. I felt humiliated and frustrated with people standing behind me in line. The service was despicable and appalling. This is not the first time I have experienced this. They don't want to be bothered with helping people. And no wonder USPS cries they are losing money. Retrain your workers to offer the best customer service to your patrons. That's the first step in seeing your profits in the green. I will never ever go back to the Jackson Post Office on Bennetts Mill again. I wish they would reopen the one near Rt 571. I loved the service there.
I never thought a post office could be so negligent and unaware. It should be a federal crime the way they treat my packages, they sent my packages to sender 6 times even at I gave specific delivery instruction, they don't respond to re delivery request, they don't answer the phones.

I have a package that was pick up , a week ago...there was no activity stated online checking the tracking number. So I called the post office after 100 rings somebody answered..told him about the problem ..The answer was they dont know , computer will only update when scanned delivered they have no control how long will it take..didnt even get the tracking number of my package so discouraging...this is not the first time it happened. I was really unhappy with this post office too bad this is the one that handles my mail.

I have called non-stop for the past hour to try and locate 2 missing packages and continually get a busy signal. This has happened several times over the past year. They should have a few alternate phone numbers so when one person decides to leave the phone off the hook you can still get in touch with a person- not that they will ever find your package but it would be nice to talk to someone.
I have called for two weeks straight and have gotten no answer except for the "wireless number you are trying to reach is unavailable". I cant even leave a message!! Its very unfortunate because I have to do EDDM at this branch because they are the only one who has the route Im sending male too. Im so upset i wish I could give them zero stars and have the channel 12 news put them on the news to show how terrible they are.
We are snow birds that go to florida for about four months. We have waited for almost three weeks in some cases to get our mail in which some have resulted in late charges. I have been a supporter of using the mail system to ensure the jobs of those that work in that industry, but of late I may just go to paying my bills electronicly istead.

The 2 employees that sell stamps at this location are very rude and make the customers feel very uncomfortable. If you can avoid this location, do so.
Everytime I have had to move, I have filled out a change of address card. And everytime the post office returns my mail with a (No forwarding address) sticker to the people that send me mail. This has caused me many problems. My roommates who never fill out those cards get all their mail! It's ridiculous to have this problem over and over.
I've been a customer of the Montrose office for 9 years. The delivery of mail has been horrible. Our neighborhood complains, and it gets better TEMPORARILY. We get the wrong mail repeatedly and have to distribute mail to each other. My carrier has hit a parked car in front of my house last year, and management has yet to return the call of the car owner. I could go on and on, but no one seems to care. I will go higher up the chain with complaints from my neighbors, until I'm heard and taken seriously.
