I had to pick up my 6x12 trailer from 51st ave uhaul and I received everything I needed without a problem. Drove to Golden BC, when I dropped off the trailer they were very courteous. Helped me get everything in order quickly so I could be on my way!
This small location went above and beyond for me. I called after hours to inquire about a rental truck for the NEXT DAY and was able to get one for early the next morning - before regular hours. Really appreciated the effort to help our school music groups make their performance on time! I will always call these people first - good old-fashion family business, with excellent customer service.
Little rental inventory, and had to call in help to hitch up a trailer. Even then it was not done properly and came off the hitch later!! Lights checked and said they were all working (I'm in the car) - but how is that with one of the wires hanging down unconnected when I'm loading? Get your gear from a bigger location where they have help and experience.

I have tried various times to reach someone at this number and not even an answering machine to answer yer call or give one any hours of operation?!? I am seriously giving my head a shake :(
I called in to the uhaul on Oxford St E and talked to a very rude woman that was reluctate to even give Me any information on renting a trailer I will not go there when I need to rent anything!!!!!!!!!
I reserved with a credit card, went to the location to pick up my van the two dimwits at the desk can see my reservation but have no truck to give me. THEN!! when they find one 3 hours later they tell me I cannot pay by debit card where as on the website it says we can.... Seriously I've read the worst reviews on uhaul and gave you guys a chance because I had everything organized pre booked.. YA, I GUESS NOT... You need to do a better job. Seriously.
I arrived 15 minutes before my rental time, no body was here, except for some mechanic who was of no help at all. The place is absolutely filthy. He said someone will be here in five minutes to look after me, I waited 45 minutes and left.
The Husky staff are great but if you ever need to rent from u-haul find another dealer. The owner is rude, unhelpful, and will try to rip you off any chance he gets. It's common knowledge around town that's why he preys on people from out of town or people in desperate need. Boycott u-haul and maybe corporate will finally get rid of this leech. Speaking as someone from Nelson WE'VE unfortunately had far to many bad dealings with him. Husky/U-haul pay attention we've had it with this man child and we are onto his games.

Paid for a rental using cash, and they also charged my credit card which was supposed for a deposit only. Went back to the store, and the worker told me to dispute the charge with my credit card company. They have no way of crediting the charge even though they admitted the mistake. The credit card dispute ended up in there favor because the business claimed I bought something else from them. No item description, no signature, no reciept, but I still get charged! There are plenty of other good businesses in the area to use.
