Review for: The White Horse in Wotton-under-Edge,
Shocked!!
Ok so I never write reviews but this place just served us the worst pub grub of my life....both of us were starving so I would have eaten almost anything and thought it was delicious!!! Place looked great very busy, outside seating, lots of space, good menu variety..both of us ordered and wow!!!
The food was just disgraceful...the salad almost rotting, it had gone brown on the corners and had that sad flat look of a burst balloon.
I had ordered the mixed grill and every piece of meat was either the cheapest cut they could have found or so past it's sell by date it was boarder line unsafe to eat ...the truth is I was so hungry I just didn't care but after eating it... I felt really sick and regretted it but I hadn't eaten for 8hrs and was starving!!!!
My girlfriend had the chicken macaroni cheese which looked like it had been microwaved within an inch of its life, her garlic bread was burned to a crisp and the second salad of the day was just as spectacular as the first...it was edible but only barely...
I work away a lot and eat out very often and I have to say this was the most disgusting and worst food I have ever had but hell I ate it anyway due to my hunger but boy did I regret it!!!...I don't get how the place was so busy ??? It's a mystery I will take to my grave, which maybe later tonight after I go down with severe food poisoning!!
Avoid this place as if your life depends on it!!!
