Closest thing to a "neighborhood" friendly store that you could ever walk into! Store manager and assistant managers really care about their customers. I go in for a short visit, and end up spending a lot more time talking with them.
I really like Vitamin Shoppe because it allows me to get most of my supplements in one place and cheaper than I was paying at other stores. The Grossmont store rates slightly lower than others because they do not stock very many Accelerade products; however, I can order them on their very extensive website and shipping is free for orders >$25.
They are very difficult at this store when trying to return anything. I had 3 different occasions where I was returning within the guidelines written on the receipt and they gave me a hard time with each one, refusing to refund my money. There were 3 separate store clerks that did this, so this is this store's protocol. I won't shop there anymore, especially when treated in such a way. Plus, you will find the same products on amazon for less and delivered to your door.
Been there many times and each time customer service was way way better than any store I have been in. I wish I could hire them at my company.
The employees at this location made my best vitamin shoppe experience ever. They were all so friendly and knowledgeable. They seemed very passionate about there job. Defiantly will come back to this location from now on!

The store manager humiliated me for trying to exchange a bottle of pills, with a smaller one, even though I told her I will buy other things, so there will not be any refund, she said she will do it as an exception however after making me feel like shit, so I refused her offer, and walked away, I will never fo to another Vitamin shoppe store, even though I have been going there for at least six months. BTW, my receipt was 34 days old. With a pissed off customer like me, all she needs to do is keep pissing people off, and I promise you, this location will not be open for long.
Great store. The staff is always helpful and they greet you when you enter the store and I love how big the store is. Well stocked too.
