My experience was awful.. My order was messed up several times and the fries were cold..

I stopped at Steak n Shake last week with my son to pick up a shake. We decided we were a little hungry and I spotted the snackers and then I saw there was an option of FRISCO snackers!! Yum, my absolute favorite! I was so excited to know we could get Frisco sauce on snackers so we pulled out, my son handed me one and he kept two. He ate his first one before I took my first bite. It seemed a little dry so I opened it up and could hardly find the dot of Frisco sauce! It was a joke, seriously! It was such a disappointment - so dry I could hardly eat it! I've attached a picture - there honestly wasn't 1/2 t. on there and so my son looked at his and he had MAYBE 1 t. It was pretty sad:-(

seems like everytime i go there my order is wrong or just takes for ever. The management fixes the problem, but sometimes they are the problem. Anyway I expect a little more for the price you pay

Can not believe this place is actually still open. The kitchen crew working tonight is rude as can be worst restaurant ever!!! Needs to be shut down! Or at least fixed I would be embarrassed if I was associated with this Steak 'n Shake!!! Disgusting!!!!

This is the second time I have gone through the drive thru only to get home and not have the order right. We ordered the double cheese and fries with everything on them. When we got home after a long wait the burger had only onlon. Very inefficient service. May be the last chance they get. Not worth paying for what you don't order.

Every time I come there I'm upset due to the poor service and ther always mess up my order where I have to come back for something they forgot to put in my bag I upsets me cause I like the Steak 'n Shake but I make me don't want it because of them issues

This unit is a constant disappointment. Shakes are late, hot food left on the window to cool, debris in the water glasses. I never go here voluntarily. I will reluctantly when friends & family insist, but that's it.

Never again will I go here! At least not late at night when no managers are present. Service was awful, the waitress was cursing loudly right in front of us, the cooks were talking about being in and out of jail, and not only was I disturbed by the behavior of the staff, other guests were as well by the looks on their faces. The waitress didn't even give me a check she just gave me a total for the bill?! I've worked in restaurants for five years and this is a never an appropriate procedure! The shakes my cousin and I ordered were the WORST shakes I've ever had. Not only were they runny and made incorrectly, my "strawberry peanut butter" shake was made with strawberry syrup, (I watched them make it) NOT "fresh" ingredients like Steak 'n Shake advertises and Resses peanut butter cup pieces..NOT peanut butter. My cousins fudge brownie shake had no brownie and was so runny he might as well have ordered a chocolate milk. I left our waitress $3 on a bill less than $15 and I thought that was EXTREMELY GENEROUS considering the experience we had. This was a total waste and I left extremely disappointed.

My family & i always stop at steak n shake when we r n Topeka. I want u to branch out to junction city, ks cuz then we wouldn't miss out, n we live there to. Would get lots of business being so close to ft. Riley army base.

i ate at steak and shake and they had the greatest service and well trained waiters..... the food was great. take your time out and try one of stack n shakes verities of burgers.

This restaraunt is a terrible spot for Familys,smelled weed in parking lot .Alot of flirting with Waitress"s.In front of Wifes! Manager never comes out of office, day shift needs work,looks like a bunch of old washed up women on day shift LOL

I just wanted to say that we eat here quite often on pine island rd. It's my husband's favorite place for a hamburger. We like your new menu too. It's welcoming to see new added meals. Your shakes are awesome too!

Today was my last visit to your Morse Crossing/Columbus Ohio Location. Breakfast review - never have biscuits available at 6:00 in the morning - always a different excuse. Lunch - entered the drive thru at 1:10 today with 5 cars ahead of me. Finally got my food after repeating my order 3 times at 1:38. They never tell you the total until you get to the window, and 8.00 for a hot dog with mustard only and a patty melt (no fries or drink) is a bit much.

I went there for lunch and the manger was sitting on his ___! The waitress was trying to help us out while the manager was stuffing her face with taco bell and a shake in the other hand and the waitress was doing the drive thru and the dishes for $2.13 an hour while the manager just watched. The cook looked irritated and some customers walked out some needs to do something about yhat place never coming back. :-(

The service was beyond horrible. Hostess held a personal conversation while we waited to be seated. She then couldn't find a clean table for those guys and had to clean as table. We waited longer for her to do the same for us. People were seated after us and received service before we did, we weren't even offered water! They acted like us sending money in their establishment was our privilege. go to McDonald's across the street. at least you expect poor service...

I work 3rd shift so when I get out of work in the morning if I feel like a burger I can have a burger and onion rings if I feel like breakfast I can have a skillet and pancakes. the service is always good and their serversare always friendly and polite.

We generally go to this steak n shake once a week and order just shakes during the 1/2 price time (2-4 pm), the service has gotten poor, it takes them at least 10 min from the time we place or order of 3-4 shakes to go to get them to us and we go inside to place the order. We can stand there upto 5 min before someone will acknowledge us. At least one of our shakes taste like something else is with it. We let them know about allergies to some fruits and could they please make sure to clean the machine before making the shakes and we we're informed that there will be cross contamination might take place that they can't clean between every one. They also informed us that we wasn't the only ones to ask and they let the other people know the same thing about cross contamination. Sorry but this can seriously hurt someone. And if they are not prepared it can kill them.

Absolutely love Steak and Shake! It's sooo good. They do a good job at presenting themselves. Every time I am in there I feel like I'm at a 50's diner. It's fun, I really enjoy their food. They also have great ice-creams, good service and unique tastes.

This is worst ,Nasty floors and under tables , tables tops and setups to include the condments.Flys on all the window sills. I will never visit this location again until someone else tells me it has been corrected.

I came to steak and shake with a party of 6 I am a server as well so I assumed people would approach a table happy to make money. Well we sat for 16 minutes before a male server came up to us!!!! Waited 7 minutes for drinks!!! This is a huge disappointment for an establishment I come to often and I don't intend to go back!!!! Thank you for the bad service and you are welcome for the good tip!!! I can't in good concence tip a server badly.... Even though I believe they deserve it!!! Wtf...half of my sandwich was wrapped up perfectly The other half was mangled and half eaten in the bottom of the bag. Who the f works here, a yeti?

i have been eating breakfast here for the past 4 years with nevera complaint until now, i had a coupon, iask for it back,she was very snippy and just said no,in 4 years i have never been denied the return of a coupon, i explained this to her, she said i am the manager here and i said no--she did not try to be nice at all--then she charged me formy coffee then the cook heard all of this and said to her that coffee was free at this time of morning--she gave him a look that could kill- this was at 605 am--i hope she treats her employees better than she treats her coustomers--thanks for letting me vent--vern

My family and I go to this location every weekend the service is great. We love our server Zohal!! This Steak 'n Shake is one out favorite.

Steak 'n Shake is the best place to go when your in a hole.

My family and I are frequent visitors to this Steak 'n Shake, and have always received a great meal, with outstanding service. The manager staff is courteous, and if you have any issues, however minor, they resolve the problem in a friendly manner.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could, but I had to choose at least one.

As soon as we walked in we noticed the floors were filthy... we should've left then. The service was slow and the food was not prepared properly. There weren't even that many people there, so it wasn't due to being busy. Our table was never bussed. My water was never refilled. We will never go to this Steak n Shake location again.

Customer service was absolutely terrible. We waited for 20 minutes and never got a waitress. They were not busy at all. We ended up walking out and the four waitresses standing around didn't even notice. This has happened the only two times we have been here. Definitely will not be going back!

I was very disappointed with the food. I ordered a hamburger, fries, chili and an orange freeze. When I got home I had the chili all over my clothes and the lid came off of my orange freeze and I lost almost all of it. I didn't notice that the chili cup must have had a hole in it and it leaked out into the bag. The bottom was completely soaked with chili and when I was carrying it into my house it leaked all over me. By the time I got everything cleaned up, the food was cold and not very tasty. I'm not looking for any free food. I just think they should watch what they are doing when they bag the food..

I see a lot of hardworking servers in this restaurant however it always seems as if the managers are putting a lot of stress on these employees.. understaffed and unorganized but food isn't worth the wait.

Absolutely horrible. Went in with 4 small children. We had to wait to be seated even though there were many tables available. Others got seated before us. After the table was cleared the manager forgot we were standing at the front. Finally seated, the high chair that was brought to us was disgustingly covered in food particles, and not small ones either. I went to change the babies diaper and returned to an upset husband because ever table had been checked with except ours. He went to the restroom with the toddler and came back and we still had not even been acknowledged. At this point, with 4 kids under 5 the wiggles have set in. I wet up to the counter and asked for service, but at that point my husband and kids were done. We left and went to braums. Eh better food anyway.

After sitting there with family for a hour, literally..we asked to speak to manager. Finally get a waitress who comes on blames the other waitress, still no drinks after 15 min then see this server in the back slurping down a shake..after that we just get up and leave..on the way out the door I complain to the man. she said.OH I"M SORRY in a very hateful manner..never going back to that place again!

I waited two minutes at the drive thru at 11:20 a.m. before I was told that i had to wait. Five miutes later I drove to the window to see if anyone was at the drive thru work station. I did'nt see anyone so I drove back around and was told I had to wait. When I asked how long, the female became rude, so I replied "I don't think so" and drove off. A total lack of management, training, or both. It is sad that hung over employees give bad names to restaurantsand bring the heat down on managers, but good management would not let this happen.
