this store has great people working there, for help and answering questions, the produce is fresh except the prepared bagged salads, when they're on sale don't buy, your $1 will be wasted. Love their bbq chicken
I stopped by this Sobeys today(April 28th) and bought a box of Europian all butter danish, when I got home and ate one, it tastes stalled, I then noticed the best before date is April 25th, 3 days ago. They are selling things that old for regular price. Not going there again.

It is great if the hours fluctuate. It would be helpful a general schedule online so I don't drive all the way there to find you are closed. Annoying, now I have to pull over so I can call. I liked it better when you were always open.

I like my produce to last longed than 2 days. Safeway staff are always pleasant. Very few Sobeys staff are pleasant. Prices are the same as Safeway. Safeway puts my bags in the cart. Bakery output in taste terms is vey good.

This is a delightful grocery store with the most helpful and knowledgable staff. I go out of my way to do my shopping there.

I used to love coming to this Sobeys but in the past few months I have found the produce to be spoiling the day after it was brought home and with lots of time left on the expiration date indicated. The positive reception by staff has also spoiled compared to the warm welcome you would receive even a year ago. I have been going to this Sobeys for 11 years and hope things will return to the way it was before. I would hate to have to shop elsewhere.
I really dread going to this store at times. Just seems that the staff, is very cold . Almost like if you are an interference to their job. I always try to brighten their day with a hello, also to ask them " how they are doing ?" Responds again cold. Great store( price wise) sorry to say this but miserable people working there,( not all) but most.
Something or someone seems to care about their produce lately, I actually bought something there and was not hard to see a difference. There wasnt an imch of dust on everything and I didnt have to sift through rotten product to find a good tomatoe
Please accept this as a BIG THANK YOU to Kamal in the deli! There have been times in the past, when my favorite deli pizza, the rotisserie chicken/spinach on multi-grain crust was not available, and she made it for me...but this time...she OFFERED to make me one when she saw me looking and walk away empty handed. She is repeatedly friendly, helpful. and courteous, and really made my night that night! I have some dietary issues, and that is the only deli pizza that I am able to eat comfortably...so kudos to Kamal! I will be back to see her!
Today I stopped by to pick up some groceries and at the entrance to the store (inside) is the most beautiful Remembrance Day tribute complete with music playing. I found another tribute in the bakery. This store should be commended for it's patriotism and thoughtfulness. Unlike Canadian Tire who cut straight to Christmas. Thanks for being so mindful of our fallen hero's.
I want to mention first that my review is based on more than one occasion. Twice, I was made to bag my own groceries while two individuals who were regular baggers stood chatting with the express checkout lady. Another time, while I had hundreds of dollars worth of groceries and my newborn I was not offered help to my car which at the time was my only reason for shopping there. If it was not for the amazing deals and fresh local produce I would not return. I never spoke to a manager but I will in the future.
Just to let you know that the Sunday store hours listed on the website are incorrect. They still say the store opens at noon.
I wanted to phone the store to order a cake. All the other sobey's list a phone number on the internet. So what is the problem with Main St location

I have been shopping at your store for 27 years and in the last year or so you are removing products off the shelf that are favorites. when I ask one of your staff to order the item it never happens. I'm told that head office has decided that I'm not allowed to have the product anymore. I would like to keep shopping at your store but you are making it hard.
I received an email last week telling me I can redeem for $10 but when I went to your speedy checkout between 7:20 & 8 pm I was told it wasn't possible. HOW EMBARRASSEING! Why would they send me this email and tell me to redeem at my next visit which was tonite. Can you explain??
At sobey's in the uplands all the staff are like family.. So down to earth,,,we all look for people to work with as a team. What a great team you have... There was this older short woman in your deli, she's a keeper. Very sweet woman
we do almost of of our grocery shopping at Sobeys and as a rule we are quite satisfied bur especialy of late when buying a nice looking roast only to unwrap it and than find that its two or three pieces of meat wrapped together to make it look like on piece.....I think this is very deceptive.....it could be deceptive enough for me to start doing my shopping elsewhere....

We had a very bad experience with The fresh fish market at the of the store, where everything you think should be fresh. As soon as our little girl start eating solid food, we were so excited to feed her organic and fresh products from Carrot Common. Once We bought a slice of sloe fish from Sobeys on Broadview, where we usually buy our grocery for 13 years. She got sick right after she finished her meals. for about a week, day and night, she was crying and we were running from hospital to doctors . high fever , diarrhea and upset stomach. All the doctors we visited, said same thing . She Have Got Food Poisoned from the Bad Fish, from Sobeys. we still shop at Sobeys, but never buy Fish from Sobeys .
