I love coming into this petsmart, the staff are really friendly and very helpful. The staff are always willing to help. Everyone is always full of smiles. I noticed they seem to have a familiar group of customers (regulars) it feel like a family more than a store.
Love this store and the people in it ! Staff is very helpful and always recognizes my dog and my kids ! Will continue to shop at this location because of their incredible customer service !

What a great person Mary is. She jumped in and help me make a tag for my dog and listened too my story how Penny ran away with hern cousin and I did not have a tag on her, Her cousin Dixie did and thank god they were still together the Lady that found them called my roomate she is awesome too, But Mary was kind and went over her call of duty iam a I Hop server and want to do a survey on her, Keep up the great work MARY> Thanks

I bought a guinea pig from here they said it was not but it later had babies lol. But I like shopping here for supplies and food.

I've been a customer of this store for a little more than a year now and have always been treated well until this morning.
I walked in and my Chi began to bark at two dogs that were leaving the store. A lady started talking loudly about dogs barking and they just want to play and on and on. I went on to the back of the store to get his food when he had an accident. While I was trying to clean it up the same woman yelled from the employee's only section of the store, that stinks. Hey lady dog poop stinks...you work in a pet store! Bless your heart!
Groomers here are rude and treat the paying customer as we are stupid. Management in there is thick head!. Shut your mouth and listen I am paying you. Go somewhere else food is over priced here to.
Worst experience of my life. The grooming people were so rude and did terrible. I would not recommend them to anyone. Word of advice everyone, go somewhere else. They need new nicer employees
We love shopping at Petsmart the employees are very helpful and knowledgable about the aminals and supplies. They are also very friendly.
Their groomers need basic training in Customer service. I was very dissapointed with their unprofessional attitude. Tried other locations without any issues. But here they act like they are doing you a favor and they could not care less about your business. Gave them a second chance to no avail. Stay away. there are other places where you will be properly served by people who take pride in their job.
Took my Shih tzu/Bichon mix to the groomers today. Same lady who did it the last two times and did a nice job. They totally hacked her. She came home looking like half shaved and totally awful. DO NOT take your dogs there to be groomed. Mary totally distroyed her cute coat. It'll take 2 months to grow out to a decent length. Absolutely the worst we've ever had. :(
I liked the clean, orderly store, the helpful staff and especially the manager, Gary, who is polite and helpful. Very pleasant shoppping experience.
Not happy with the service. After waiting 20 min and two calls from cashier to send someone to give me some crickets finally got fed up and ask to speak to a manger. The manger had to come get me crickets this happens everytime I come to get crickets! Sick of searching for help in the store. Please hire more workers!

Last November I took our little schitzu-poodle mix to the Petsmart store at Aurora & 130th. The usual, bathe, trip, nail grinding, etc. We'd been taking him there for a full y ear or more prior to that. We were satisfied with the groomer who usually worked on him, and always left her at lest a cash $5.00 tip if not more. When I came to pick Mugsy up I was shocked to say the least. The groomer (Cindi?) had shaved him down to his SKIN .. ! This is in mind-November? It turned out she was upset that a few weeks before we'd brought Mugsy in and Cindi was not available, so the manager herself did the grooming. Cindi was upset that we "failed" to bring Mugsy in on a day she was there. She got her "revenge" by being so cruel to the dog ... shaving him down to his skin at a time of the year any animal needs their coat to keep 'em warm. The manager sort of felt bad aout it. She offered $10.00 off the next grooming. Forget it. We're now taking Mugsy to Great Dog off Roosevelt. MUCH kinder people there.
To who it may concern: About a month ago our neighbor bought my grand daughter a cockatiel from pet smart for her birthday. We fell in love with him the minute he walked in our hearts. He acted different than most birds(we have had cockatiels in the past) and he was very loving to us but we thought something was off. As the days passed he kept getting sicker..had a funny odor and trouble breathing. We took him into pet Smart to see if they thought he was ok, they assured us, he was fine. We went home, he acted different even more and continued getting sicker. We were out shopping, came home and he was laying at the bottom of the cage, gasping for air. We called pet Smart that second to see what we or they could do. They simply suggested they could put him to sleep for $48.95 plus the cost of the med's!!!! Are you kidding me??? But our 14 days was up by a week is ALL they could say!!! (what's this...the LEMON law )? We loved our bird and that was all the comfort they could spare??? I found a local vet and called them as soon as I hung up with pet smart. After telling them the birds symptoms the vet said there was little they could do. We tried feeding him by hand, keeping him warm as per the vets directions and loving him as always. After 3 hours of constant care, we left the room for a few minutes to walk back not 5 minutes later and he was dead!!! Our Christmas filled with tears. Our hearts broken!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We loved him.. he was a part of our family. My grand daughter was devastated. We will not allow Pet Smart to do this to us. We will sue, picket..whatever it takes. I am hurt and angry and have read many complaints online about Pet Smart and its care of animals and loss of birds to others as well.. This is not the first sick bird you have sold, that has died just after the 14 days. Pet Smart picked the wrong family to mess with. Selling ill birds is a very cruel thing to do to anyone. This is not over. That bird cost $120.00 and we want every penny plus pain and suffering back. The young man that bought the bird that day spent almost $300.00 on the bird, cage and goodies...all to get our hearts stepped on. With the help of an attorney we will just see what we can do. We have not stopped crying at the loss of our little friend!!! I will tell the world, shout it out...picket everyday...DO NOT BUY FROM PET SMART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Totally agree with above review. Its great they help shelter pets and rescues which is why i started shopping there in the first place. Then I found out how cool the employees were and how not just the company but the employees really do care for the animals there. Love the cats and wish I could adopt them all. I too put my dog through 2 training classes there and the instructor was great. Thanks petsmart employees for everything you do!
I MAINLY GO TO THIS PETSMART BECAUSE IT IS THE CLOSEST ONE TO MY HOUSE,BUT I HAVE BEEN TO OTHERS AND ALWAYS, EVERYTIME, I GET OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE! EVERYBODY IS ALWAYS SO FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL, AND EVEN WHEN THERES SOMETHING NOT ON THE SHELVES, THEY WILL GO BACK AND CHECK TO SEE IF IT JUST HASNT BEEN PUT OUT YET. I LOOVE THE FACT THEY HELP SHELTER PETS AND RESCUES, AND THEY ALWAYS HAVE GREAT SALES AND PROMOTIONS WHICH IS GREAT. I HAVE 19 KITTIES, A DOG, (WHICH I PUT THROUGH ONE OF THEIR EXCELLENT TRAINING CLASSES) AND 2 TURTLES SO IM ALWAYS THERE BUYING A WIDE RANGE OF ITEMS. SO I JUST WANNA SAY THANK YOU TO THIS PETSMART AND THE ONE ON FORD RD AND OFF SALINE ANN ARBOR ROAD FOR BEING SO AWESOME. WOULD NOT SHOP ANYWHERE ELSE FOR MY PET NEEDS AS MY ANIMAL FRIENDS ARE ALSO FAMILY TO ME AND YOU GUYS DEFINATELY UNDERSTAND THAT! HIGHLY RECOMMEND AND CANT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THE EXCELLENCE OF THIS COMPANY AND EMPLOYEES.
We took our cat to the Whittier Petsmart on December 9. The photographer told my husband that Santa was allergic to cats. Can you believe that? How can you hire a Santa with pet allergies of any kind?
My lab is 10 years old but a big baby! Always afraid to be left somwhere that we don't stay! But this Petsmart is so kind and loving with our girl, she couldn't be happier.
