I recently spent 1300.00 getting my air fixed! I thought it would be under warranty so I took it in today! I was there 3 hours and they come up to me and said it would be over 600 dollars! None of the issues they said I had.....had anything to do with my air! I told them I was leaving and they charged me 130 for diagnostic! I'm now in another garage and they tell me I need freon! Pep Boys on Jones is the most un-professional people I have ever met!!! Don't have any work there until you search all reviews..... None of them are good!

I was very impressed with the customer service especially with Texus he was very charming and very well knowledgeable about the service i needed so i am very pleased to say all around they are phenomenal.

I went to Pep Boys for a brake job. The service advisor Alex had my truck checked out he informed me what needed to be done. Pep Boys was up front and they did a great job at the right price.

They have been helpful more than once, always doing what is best for me and my car not what will get them the most money.

do not ever, ever ever, in your life go that place....unprofessional, rude, inconsiderate, charge without letting you know for what....do not know an exact part your car needs and you will have to do all the work and make sure the part is delivered...mechanics are lazy ass workers, do not return car when promised and will continue looking for something to do to your car to keep charging you.....the worst shop ever.

OMG! On a quick trip to NY we had problem with our car, decided on PepBoys. Big mistake! At 8 AM we were told they had the part. At 11:30 we were told it was the wrong part and the correct one would arrive in 10 minutes. 12:45 told it was here, still not here!. It's now 2:30. Wasted more than 6 hours of our vacation time due to employee mistakes, maybe not their fault entirely! Other customers there at same time as us were having same experience. PepBoys corporate should be ashamed of themselves for not providing proper training or support! Would rate negative but just really feel sorry for the guys in the shop.

I was very pleased with my service at Pepboys this afternoon, I am new to the area and know finding a reliable and honest mechanic can be difficult. I was convinced my serpentine belts needed to be replaced and was given an estimate of $157.18 for parts and labor, which was a pretty standard estimate compared to the other 3 places I called. I am a graduate student and every penny counts, but rather than risk future problems and expenses for putting the service off, I decided to bit the bullet and pay for it. When I went into the service center, I asked the man at the front desk, Kahlil, if they would check to make sure the serpentine belt was the actual problem. After waiting for 30 min. (not long at all), Kahlil informed me that the belt did not need to be replaced, only tightened. When I went to pay for the services, he told me there was no need because nothing had actually been replaced. I do not know a lot about vehicles, and I would have willingly paid the estimated price if I was told that was the problem and the squeaking sound my car had been making went away. I am grateful for the honesty and integrity I was shown by Kahlil and the team at Pepboys. I will be returning for future services and referring my boyfriend, who needs an oil change.

Hi, I live in Phoenix and I took my car to get serviced at the one in 1300 S 6th Ave in Tucson! I was very pleased with the customer service end the manager was very attentive. He explained everything thoroughly. I would definitely reccommend this store to my friends!!! I look forward to taking my car again! Actually, I allready took my other car for service!!! I left my car there while enjoying Porkies BBQ. Two slow leaks in old tires. After lunch, head over and no charge! Where I will buy my tires from next time!

Came in for a lube job which should take 30 mins on a good day. 3 hours later (walked to waffle house & walgreens to kill time) I find my car has not even moved! The woman told me upon bringing it in it would be an hour and a half. That is what I expect. I'm looking through the glass at the employees with their hands in their pockets, walking around and smoking! WTF! Never coming here again!

Since moving to Columbia over 3 years ago we have used Pep Boys on Broad River Rd. they have handled oil changes, new set of tires, idler pulley replacement, belt tensioner replacement, and air filter changes on our Trailblazer. The work is always professional as expected, but the thing that makes us keep going back is the 3 guys at the front. We have been there during non busy and crazy busy times they always handle each customer with patients and a personal concern for them and heir vehicles and it shows. They are pleasant even with some difficult clients. I was in this past Good Friday and they were slammed but you couldn't tell by them because their patients and personal care for each customer didn't waiver. They remembered me and my car when I came in. I did wait awhile to get 3 things done but I understood they were busy and didn't mind. Great job guys!

Appt for 10 am. At 1 pm I was told they didn't have the tires I ordered online and there was still two more cars ahead on me. Ill take my business elsewhere.

I completely trust all of the staff and mechanics at this location. I have been to other locations before and like Pep Boys in general but sincerely appreciate the effort the guys in this location put into me and my husband's cars. They have saved us a lot of money, are very quick when our car is in need of a repair. By using the rewards card, I get rebates and pep boys gift cards often. They know us by name and make the whold car repair experience a lot better than I have ever experienced in any other location/business.

My car had a misfire issue and Pep Boys told me that I needed a new transmission which would cost $2000 + $595 for labor. I took my car to another mechanic and it turned out that I had a leak in my transmission. Do not go to Pep Boys they will overcharge you and won't diagnose your car problem correctly!

If you have major car problems, do not go to his pep boys!!!!! there is a lack of communication between the technician and the customer. My car was in the shop for 4 days, and the technician that was running diagnostics on my car was unavailable to tell me what was wrong. I called everyday and each day I was told that the technician that was running diagnostics on my car was not working that day!

Wow. Headlight polishing that really works. Astounding clarity...like new. 70,000mi on a VW passat and the lenses were so fogged it was difficult to make out bulbs. I tried DIY polishers w/power drill and there is simply no comparison. Best $50 I have spent on car maintenance. Total job: new HID headlights, new wipers, and restoration. Great service, accommodating.

I just wanted to highly recommend Pep Boys on Buford Hwy. I have been a regular customer for over 10 years and Sam, Esteban, Jose and store manager Martin always give consistently outstanding customer service. For regular maintenance or emergency repair, you can't beat Pep Boys at 4105 Buford Hwy!
