The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and for the price a very good choice. I will be back and will stay at the same hotel.

Staff was very rude. Rooms are very dirty. Rooms have no amenities. You can easily hear the other rooms through the walls. In addition to the lack of cleanliness of the facility, I can not stress enough how inconsiderate, incompetent, rude and disrespectful the staff is. I would not waste my money going to this place. There are plenty other microtels and other hotels in the area that are much closer to Mesquite's attractions and are located in the safer and more industrialized part of town.

Very nice accommodations for a solo traveler with a pet. The price was low and they only charged $5 for my dog. Very clean and loved the room updates and colors. Good breakfast with hot items. Located close to I-80 and dining places. The only negatives were: no iron or ironing board and (although not Microtel's fault) many taxes that are added to the base price that takes the cost much higher than anticipated. A state tax, a local tax, a room tax, and an occupancy tax??
