Great bed and shower! Refrigerator not plugged in, and never got really cold. Sighted a few bugs that looked like roaches. (but hey, it's Houston) Told the front desk to treat the room. Overall, I give the room a C plus.
Usually have good luck by booking a room at a Marriott but this hotel is not great. They have tried to do some minimal upgrades but it is old and dingy..rooms are small..our bathroom door had to be forced to open or close..staff is not overly friendly at all..not a horrible experience but not up to par with others and not a perfect start to our honeymoon trip. Thankfully it was just one night on the way to our actual destination
I am not happy with the service in this hotel. Number one when I stayed there the heat in my room did not work. Secondly I left three shirts in my room one was important to me and I have called 6 times about it and NEVER had a call back. I never seen anything like it. I am sure the shirts were stolen and they just blew me off. The area is low end also not recommended look elsewhere
This place is great! Great location with close restaurants and a movie theatre.
