Ok. I wished there was a place to upload a photo i took Of the men's bathroom. It hasn't been cleaned in so long that there is worse things than poop growing on the floors , walls and well everywhere. Worst bathroom I've ever seen.

The management is crass and rude, employees are forced to go without adequate restroom access and are forced to work after their shift without pay. Employees not seen as "favorites" are discriminated and forced into resignation, or flat out fired if they are not coerced. I strongly recommend you not patronize this establishment if you believe in even the most basic employee rights.
The person working, who claimed to be the owner, was the rudest most ignorant person I have ever had to deal with. I hope for the businesses sake he was lying about being the owner. I have never been so insulted by anyone and I work in the service industry. I will NEVER go back! By the way they had only premium gas and the pumps were so slow and obviously not properly maintained.

I have gave them 3 shots and only reason I keep trying to deal with them is it's convenient to my home first time took my sister in law there to et gas she ran out and only had 5 in change he refused to take change next time I wanted a drink after getting gas at the pump 40 bucks worth and he refused my card for a drink. Last and final I was getting gas and ask for change for a 20 again he said no very rude like. His wife called my wife a bitch at one vist they never speak to u and are the rudest people I hae ever meet they will not speak a word and when they do it's rude I wish that place would sale out so I would not have to go 3 miles down the road when I have a store at my back door
filled up there and two days later truck stopped and my mechanic said the injector were clogged and the fuel filer was too. I asked how this happen because its a new truck. He said there was water and debris in the fuel. It cost me 800.00 to get this fixed. I asked the dumb black guy there about it. He said I dont know what to tell you. Maybe some other place. The last 5 times i filled up was there.

The workers are courteous, but the service was horrible. There was arnoral all over the console, doors, and steering wheel. The windows were supposedly treated with rain-x but when it rained, we couldn't see out the windshield. We went back today and the tech on duty said they always get compliments on their rain-x. Needless to say, we won't be going back there again. We have done business with them for quite a few years and now they are doing sloppy work.
Today i went into the Marathon gas station and a worker/cashier had said something and i sarcastically ( playing around around ) answered her and she called me a child and a few other words and then threatened to ban me from there, and i slightly laughed and she started to act up and had a really sour attitude with me and continued to say i was going to get banned. Honestly I'm not going to listen to her because she's not the manager, shes just a worker. But she makes you guys look bad. Poor service, and workers with a bad attitude. Oh and she was a lady around her mid 20s around 5"5 and her make up looked slapped on.
Excellent Service at this Marathon. The employees go above and beyond to accommodate their customer. If you stop at any gas station in Irwin, stop at this Marathon!

I have been driving for 15 years, and work an hours commute away from here, so I buy a lot of gas, have never had anything like this happen before in my life: today I pulled up to a pump, turned off my car, tripped the switch to release my gas tank cover and was trying to get out of the car when an employee came out and told me to leave because someone had already prepaid on that pump. Why weren't they parked there then? I will never return. Went elsewhere with the tank cover flopping open. Also, they not set up well, hard to get in and out, bad pump lay out.
They tried to rip me off. I bought some candy and some beer. He rang up the $1.00 worth of candy at $1.50 and I called him out on it. After that, he told me I owed him $13 and some change! The 12 pack I was buying was priced at $7.99. Add the deposit, the candy, and tax, and it should have been about $10.60. The guy behind the counter was more than willing to take that much money from me if I hadn't called him out the second time. All the while, there was another guy behind the counter who looked and acted like the owner. I'm quite sure that guy was in on the rip off scam. DO NOT SHOP HERE! THEY WILL TRY TO RIP YOU OFF!!!
I absolutely loathe the morning staff at this gas station. I am now going out of my way to avoid going here. The ladies are extremely rude, do not acknowledge you standing in front of the register waiting to be attended because they are too busy gossiping with one another (in spanish). When they finally dothey have an additude. If they do not wish to be up that early Iin the morning, I suggest they find a job where they start afternoon shift. Where I work at, I provide optimal service tired or not. I expect people to reciprocate a "thank you" with a "you're welcome", not a dirty look. They make it feel almost like im bothering them to ask for gas.

Around the first of June 2013 I saw a sign on the street in front of your store that said ICE ten pound bag $1.49. I paid for the ice and found a 8 pound bag. The bag itself broke when I got home and banged it on my counter. The ice does have an odd taste. Where does this ice come from and is it safe and checked by the health Department?

They are very friendly and the staff have all been there a while, they are just great!! Could use a different parking lot set up. I sometimes pass up going there because you can't get in or out.
Would not buy gas from this station again. Gas purchased on 4/20/13 contained water.
Do not go to this gas station and use a credit card as payment. Not only will they stop the pump short of your request, they will argue about it and make you feel like you agreed to the lesser amount only to later check your account online to find the higher amount. I called right after I figured this out which was from work exactly one hour later. I did call the station to rectify this only to be given a run around as I wanted the difference to be refunded on to my card.
I will going there later personally to collect my refund. I will never be going to this gas station again.

This is one of the best auto mechanic shops that ive ever been to, the service is A1, fast, they get u in and out, and prices very reasonable.
Owners seemed nice but the staff are horrible, very cocky the place is nasty dust all over the place, everything is high priced even for a gas station!
This Marathon station is hands down the best one around!! The atmosphere is great, friendly workers, clean store and restrooms, beautiful design,cute small restaurant attached and last but not least.....THE BEST PRICES IN TOWN ;)

Fast Shop 2 / Marathon Gas is a smaller privite owned gas station. But what they lack in luster they make up for it with customer service. The employees are exceptional and courteous. Its a pleasant experience each visit and they take the time to know their customers individually... from my cigs to my husbands dip to what lottery tickets we buy. NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS... dont waste ur time askin.
I have been using this gas station for awhile an I bought a blu electric cigs and it didn't work when I opened it and they tell me they don't know te return policy r u serious!! I just bought it and she told me she remembers me and still won't do anything!! U can b sure this isn't were this will end!

Every time I have gone in there they have been very rude to me. I went to buy a gallon of milk and it expired in 3 days, so I figured lets just get a half of a gallon, and the 1st one I looked at expired 14 days ago!!!! I told the gas station attendant and he blatantly ignored me. I even said it more than once, still received the same response. I refuse to go there, and its right down the street. I would rather drive 3 miles then deal with this gas station, if I could rate lower I would- How disgraceful!
Best service compared to any gas station in the area. They make me feel like my business is appreciated. I go there every Sunday for free full service, someone pumps my gas and cleans my windows, I love it... especially in the winter. Its so convenient, my one stop shop!!!

Alpena folks with credit cards "beware of this Marathon gas station on M-32". I purchased $30 of gas there yesterday. I checked my charge card this morning and they charged me an extra dollar just to check the GM card. I have been a loyal customer of theirs. This is theft. They didn't tell me there was a $1 charge to check your credit card and they will never sell another gallon of gas to me again!!
I work very close by to this gas station and frequently stop there before or after work. Usually I don't go inside, so I've never had to deal with any of the workers there. Today when I stopped to get gas the pump kept stopping after a short time. I went inside to notify the employee the pump may need some attention and he retorted by saying "Is this your first time pumping gas?" I thought he was joking at first and responded that I've pumped gas many times before, I was just letting him know there was a problem. He then said "It must be something you are doing." By this point, another customer in the store also said the same thing happened to them. I decided it wasn't worth the hassle and began walking out. He followed me to the pump to "show me what to do" and started to pump the gas when, of course, the same thing happened. He said it was my car at this point, not the pump. That the tank must be full. I assured him my tank was not full and became angry at his condescending attitude. He kept pulling out the pump and getting gas everywhere saying the tank was full. By this point I was over the situation and turned on my car to show him my tank was, in fact, almost empty and he started screaming. I told him to back away from my car and also assured him I would not be coming back, nor would anyone at my workplace once they heard this story. He flicked me off and I drove away. This place does not deserve anyone's money, nor time. Go to the BP up the street if you are around the Kenwood area. Save yourself from having to be told you don't know how to pump gas by someone who is clearly not suited to working in the customer service industry. By the way, I stopped at another gas station nearby and filled up my tank without a single problem.
Prepay gas pumps,order not rite,2 new cashiers screwing up at same time made me late for work,open package when I got home,credit card machine down and rude! Only thing going for it is its open 24 hours.
Very dishonest Money hungry watch out.
