Rating for Verde Valley Medical that has been at this location since January 2012. Lab Corp not here and no affiliation with the Hospital
They have handled all of my visits with curtious & accurate information. I've been a walk in & an appointment person over 10 times throught the past few years. I always recomend this location because they are so very nice & gentle. Thank you
You can not reach this office by telephone EVER! My son and I have gone twice now before their posted closing times and no one be there. He has to do a drug testing to obtain a job. Not happy and will be advising clients to use other means of testing
Extremely frustrating trying to speak with someone!!! I called their number during regular business hours multiple times and could never get through. The recorded message says to stay on the line but no one ever picks up. A couple of my calls sounded like someone picked up the receiver then just layed it down, voices in the background but no one there. Very unprofessional
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because my insurance stated I had no copay and they still ran my debit card and made me sign an agreement that if my insurance didn't pay they would be able to charge my card $50.00 max. I also requested to have my blood work results emailed or given to me as required by HIPA but apparently FL statutes override that which doesn't make sense to me.
Always have great service at this location. A tech, Dawn, has always been so nice and caring and truly don't mind having blood work done if I get service with a smile everytime!
They run up to an hour late. Unprofessional and thoughtless
The employees of this location were kind and courteous! I didn't have to wait long and the plebotomist was very good!
Friendly staff, knowledgable and gentle! Highly recommend!
I have tried 3 times to connect with a person, with no luck. I get endless rings then the phone hangs up.
Still trying to talk a representative.
Very frustrating
Have been to this office many times and they have always been very helpful and professional.
I've used the Termino St. office a few times now and wanted to share how each visit I've been shown fast, courteous and excellent service from the staff and always with a smile. Thanks, please keep up your good work, much appreciated...
I have sat and waited an hour twice in the last two weeks to have certain tests done..The first time they didnt do the right tests and the second time they lost my blood.
Awful awful place
I have been getting my blood work done at this location for several years. I am a very anxious person when it comes to being stuck with needles, and the phlebotomist noticed without me saying anything. As she was taking the needle out, she could tell I was not feeling well. Before I knew it, I had 2 very attentive phlebotomists standing over me, fanning me, and taking very good care of me until I was able to get up and leave. I know for a fact this is not how all labs are run, but they sure should be!!
Excellent personnel. Very efficient and prompt service. I have always been happy with this office.
I arrived as a walk in about 10 minutes before closing. They still offered a smiling welcome, and were fast and efficient in sign in and service. Very appreciated. I would definitely go back.
Long waits, thier main computer crashes and nearly stops the show regularly, They will not give you a copy of your own blood work report. You can only get it from your doctor. The Villages office is not golf cart accessible. They ask for your credit card and make you sign for the whole charge upfront even if you are on Medicare. I guess they don't trust our government. First experince --- terrible.
Lady at counter very aggressive to get a payment for services when my insurance pays 100% labs. Explained sign this paper this is being billed to my insurance but if they don't pay in 30 days it will be charged on my card. Would not let me ask questions very direct. Concerned Lab Corp visitor.
Pls do not even try to go there. They are either closed or on lunch break No Saturday's. Very rud
I have been using this location for several years and always was impressed with the courtesy and friendliness of the employees either at front desk or at the blood stations.
I .
Just a note of thanks to the way all of you always make me feel special. As I go for periodic testing, I have never felt anything but comfortable and confident in the capability of the staff located here. And, setting up an appointment, in advance, with your user-friendly software program, is also a major plus!
Very poor service !!! people are rude, I had to get my 8 month olds blood drawn and the lady never even talk to us or even smiled....we had to wait forever, the place is dirty and they never answer the phone !
Poor customer service Dont answer the phone no one calls you back
Horrible place, very unprofessional! The lady yelled at my 6 year old daughter because she was scared she told me to leave and come back later!! Never going back
I signed in with 4 people in front of me and in 1 1/2 hours only 2 people have been seen. There are still 2 ahead of me.I have been fasting since 11pm yeaterday for this test. Then I get on this website to check hours and the hours state they fluctuate. What kind of business runs an operation like this and has so much lack of consideration for their clients. I will not be back to this location and will be checking into my insuarance company to see if I may use another lab altogether.
I arrived at LabCorp at 2100 Gervais Street, Columbia SC at 4:35 a quoted by the "receptionist". I was told that the office was closed as she pointed to a taped piece of paper on the door indicating the office hours had changed from 5:00 to 4:30 pm. She DID NOT offer any further assistance at all but proceeded to sign in a caucasian gentleman that had just come in the door before me. The man was literally just signing in!!! I insisted on information on any other clinic that stayed open later since it was obvious that I wasn't going to get any service there. The "receptionist" gave me a sheet of information for all six of the Colulmbia LabCorps. I was told to go to the Highland Center office because they stayed open until 5:00pm. In traffic, this is a good thirty minute drive! I arrived there ten minutes til 5:00 only to find it already closed. I knocked on the door until someone answered. I informed them that I was sent by the Gervais Street location. The woman proceeded to tell me that ALL locations are well informed that ALL locations are close at 4:30. Since LabCorp has a corporate contract with the company for which I needed lab work done, much better service should be rendered to their clients, not customers but clients!!
They are fast and friendly. There hardly is a wait whenever I go!
My 67 year old mother fasted for 24 hours in preparation for her appt with these rocket scientists. On the day of her appointment the front door was locked, so she called the #, and the technicians inside said the guy that unlocks the front door wasn't available so they couldn't let her in (even though they were inside and could have let her through the employee entrance on the back). Avoid these non-professional monkeys at all costs!
I have to say that this is one of the most efficient Labcorp locations that I've been to. I had an appointment at 6:30 and by 6:30 I was on my way to work. They took people in, got thier information, and sent them to get the lab work done. The two woment that were working worked so well together. I am definitely planning on going back when I need blood work done!
I have been sent to Labcorp several times for family members needing to have bloodwork done. I have yet to have a pleasant experience. They are rude and are in no hurry ever! I brought my daughter one afternoon to have a drug test done for a job interview. I did not know they stopped drug testing at 3 or that they closed at 4. When I arrived, it was 4:00 exactly. I assumed they were still open because two ladies were in the doorway along with a man talking. When they say my daughter get out of the car, they walked inside, shut the door, and preceeded to lock it all the while looking her in the face. They didnt bother to acknowledge her, kindly tell her they were closed or anything. I plan on letting them know just how rude and unprofessional they are.
I've tried for 2 days to try and reach the Rose Hospital office but have gotten a recording every time that says "one of our representatives will be with you shortly" ... which never happens. You hear the recording twice then you're cut off. No answering machine to leave a message consequently no way to contact the company. Extreemly poor service and not someone I'd like to use as a medical provider. Makes one wonder about the quality of their blood work analysis????
Staff was prompt and efficient and polite. However my blood sample was taken be needle from a vein. In the last 2 years, it has always been done by finger stick and read on the spot with a small hand meter. LabCorp apparently sends all their samples out to testing and seems to have picked the more expensive and slower way to do things.
While sitting here waiting the waiting area is full. There appears to only be one employee working. However she's been ignoring everyone in the waiting room for at least the past 10 minutes. Slow service for sure
You should hire some people that know the meaning of customer service. I called the location on S. Inependence Blvd to see where the office was located. The lady that answered the phone gave the address but when I asked her where they were near she got very rude and said "Is there anything else I can help you with" even though I was asking her what stores were near by. Not a nice attitude to have with customers who are trying to find your business.
This was the worst experience I have ever had, and I cannot believe these people are allowed to work here! From the time I walked in and was given an attitude. Rolling of the eyes, rudeness, shortness, and when I confronted her for acting like a bitch she actually picked a fight with me and continued to argue with me until I was finished giving blood for the tests to be done. What the hell kind of customer service is that?!?!?! Horrible! I am just speechless when I think of what a horrible experience I had!! DON"T GO HERE!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!
Considering what one is there for, Triciia and Airell make one's visit her very enjoyable. Not only are they very professional - haven't felt a thing when the needle is inserted - they are also very sociable and make the visit a lot of fun. I have used that LabCorp office several times, and they never let me down. Kudos to them.
I'm very phobic of needles.Drawing blood from me is a huge drama!! But, Marie at Labcorp Ocean Ave has such a light touch & is so kind, caring & funny that i've been there twice this year for bloodwork & its been the best i've experienced in 40 years. I mentioned this to my doctor, Dr. Friedman & he told me that he brought hismother to this location , for the same reason. So Thank You Marie ( & even though you're wonderful drawing blood- i still hope to never have to do that again but if God forbid, i will have to-i will def come to you ) Thank You
Very Professional Facilty. Moved along quiclky!
On Friday, November 9, 2012 at 7:30 am I was the 4th patient to arrive for my lab tests. They requested for me to provide a urine sample. The bathroom was in disarray and dirty. There was no toilet paper available and I had to clean the toilet seat myself.
Prior to the blood test, I noticed the arm rest had blood on it. I immediately notified the tech about the unhealthy condition. She wiped off the blood spots only. Not the whole pad.
The purpose of my review is to advise management of the potential hazards to other patient's health after my experience.

I have had such a great experience in my 3 plus monthsYou are visits, at 2 visits a week, for almost 4 months now. I can't say enough good things about Jennifer and George. They are gentle and extremely efficient. They make you feel so comfortable and with both, you hardly feel the needle go in. I can't imagine going anyplace else to have bloodwork done.
i thought the nurse or tech whatever her title was very rude and unprofessional the day i had to go there for my drug screening. she had no patience and said something to me that i thought was very unprofessional and she had no right to talk like that to me or to anyone. maybe she was having a bad day. whatever the case may be, if she doesn't like her job or have any patience for the clients then she needs to go home or find a new job. thank you
This morning I attempted an early appointment at LabCorp as it was for a fasting lab test. I waited over an hour. The receptionist, Lauretta, lost my paper work. I did not get an apology or any assistance at what to do next. After a wait of over an hour I left the office, went to the doctor, got new lab orders. I went to American Lab on Sterhaus. Had no wait, no loud voiced worker asking about a patient's urine output with no concern for privacy, and met with polite and professional technicians. If your insurance allows you to go to a different lab, I would recommend you do so.
I have been to the lab on multiple occasions, in order to have blood panels drawn for annual physicals and ailment diagnoses. On most visits, the turn around time has been quite reasonable and the staff pleasant and professional. Location is very approximate to my doctor's office, which is appreciated when fasting.
I could not have been happier with the care given to my daughter at labcorp, Orangeburg, NY. My daughter has autism and is an adult. They made the visit easy, quick, and she was absolutely fine with getting blood drawn. The nurse was the best. Will always use this company and location now.
