Review for: Jewel-Osco in Bourbonnais, IL
Love Bourbonnais Jewel Osco
Love this store.
Love this store.
The store never answer the phone. I let it rang for 10 minutes. That's not cool
This jewel store has very very bad customer service
I had a problem with the price of an item, and the night Manager was very helpful.
I bought Christmas frosting and carrot cake mix with cream cheeses frosting, sad to say its expired and I lost my receipt. Went to exchange it and they would not accept them. Please send me the corporate information to send these items to them..
The pharmacists are very knowledgable and helpful.
everyone there is willing to help
the store needs a pep talk for the rude employees
I've moved so that this isn't the most convenient location to shop or get my meds, but the pharmacists are so helpful and pleasant I don't want to go anywhere else.
About 20 minutes ago one of the workers in the "fried chicken" section purposely ignoring that I was standing there for a long time waiting to ask a question. Sure enough she's just pretending she's busy in something else. I shopped Jewel-Osco since 1975 and never had this experience. She must have a bad day. Give her a raise way to go. 11:39 AM Central, 07-23-13
Customer service at this Jewel goes above and beyond the service you can get in any other Jewel in Chicago or Oak Lawn.
These folks live service it's not just a platitude. Any other Jewel pales by comparison.
Great service and very experienced Pharmacists and Staff. I have used them for many years and will continue to do so. If needed the Pharmacists take as much time as necessary to explain your medicines and address your concerns. Highly reccomend.
Good fruit, veegees and fairly decent prices, just a little pricey tho....
Been working here for a long time and it is one of the best run companies I have worked for. It has mostly steady days in terms of business. The recent buyout required that the company hire more service clerks to help with carry outs as needed. Dress codes have become more polished in recent years including slacks, vests, and aprons. Management tends to move around between stores at any given time. Most days are decent and I get along with most everyone. The pay is not high but it is overall a good working environment.
This place is incredible. They have groceries and stuff. Their fruits and vegetable are fresh but they will probably have different ones if you go there. The shelves are full. I love the pickle section. The dry goods are dry. And they have checkout lines. Bonus.
This team is terrific from the butcher/meat, to the deli to the bakery. I appreciate their recommendations in dealing with dietary concerns & the quality of the product received. It's my #1 place to get my party planning needs met quickly ... even for last minute requests! I love the ladies in the select your meat dept. They've given me the highest quality meat and wonderful new recipes.
The people on the registes alway are made and bad atitude also the manager what is a lady . I went there on march 14 because the jewel close to my house was close aut of business but I had a really bad experience so i do not coming back to buy there any more and also i am going to ask all my friends to don't go there any more
The Jewel on Wolf Rd. in Orland Park has very bad service. They always seem to be short staffed. I asked someone at the service counter if she could please have someone help me in camera (as always there is never anyone there.) I waited 15 minutes and finally went back to the service counter and the blonde woman I asked for assistance was busy gossiping with another employee. Needless to say I left. This happend today on Tuesday 01.22.2013 at 1:30 P.M/
a nice place to shop employees are knowledgable and courteous.
I'm giving location a 3 out of 5 stars because one apple spoiled the bunch. I lost my phone today and through iCloud I located it at the Jewel store. I drove back to Jewel and I asked the employee running self check out (because I self checked myself out) if she'd seen a phone. She went to customer service and thus where the issues began. The customer service representative is a elderly woman with long white, grey hair. The woman running self check out seemed to have an attitude and was annoyed when the employee from self check out asked if she'd received a phone. After a brief look the self check out employee returned and told me she hadn't found it. I told her that I know it's at this location somewhere and before I could finish my sentence the customer service representative got in my face and started saying that it must be somewhere in the store then. I told her I know that the last time I saw it, the phone was at the self check out, so it had to be between there and the parking lot. She then yelled that it must be and the parking lot and I should go look for it. The other employees around offered to look for my phone in the parking lot, while the customer service representative kept insisting I needed to go look for it. At this point I said I wasn't accusing anyone of taking it, I was just saying that it has to be at this location because of how I located it on my computer. At this point her entire demeanor changes and she's like "Oh, Okay" and walks away. The self check out representative was so kind and she took down my information(which you'd expect the customer service representative would do instead of being so rude) and she even told me where I could find the carts so I could check there. I ended up finding it in the parking lot, and all is well. I'm just disgusted at the customer service representative's reaction and how she handled the situation. I've worked retail and the last thing I would ever do is treat an already anxious customer with such disrespect. The other employees I encountered were wonderful and extremely helpful, but the customer service representative should have a different position based on how she handled this circumstance.
