Review for: IRS Office in Tucson, AZ
Unbelievable
unbelievable the phone # is incorrect for an IRS office, the whole IRS organization is broken.....
unbelievable the phone # is incorrect for an IRS office, the whole IRS organization is broken.....
unable to get help for my elderly 85 year old mother. No one answers and I am unable to help her because I have spent 2 hours calling around the IRS to get help on a mtax matter where she paid and they do not see it
Phone # is incorrect, unable to speak to a real. live. person.
This phone number is wrong and it's pretty pathetic how they don't have an actual number to talk to a real person.
I called to report suspected fraudulent "IRS" activity. I was unable to reach a "Human Being" being told by the automated system to re-dial the phone number. An endless loop.
I was very pleased with the service at the capital avenue location. I requested tax returns for the past 10 years. The staff who assisted was very efficient and quick. It only took about 15 minutes to receive the copies.
I visited the IRS office this morning and the lady in the front desk was really rude and I don't think is fare because we the people deserve a better treatment that's what customer service is for.
Never available to help nobody
Can't get through on phone. Req appointment twice by computer, no answer. Worthless!
Cannot get through the phone tree to talk to a human. Every time I think i got there, they hang up on me. been waiting 4 months for my refund and keep getting the run around.
This office needs to hire some help!!! I can take a early lunch and get there and she is gone to lunch at 11:45. I don't care what time it is, I can not be helped. This is the worse customer service every. I know we all need lunch but be able to assist the public when they need you!
Hours not provided on web site OR phone! What gives?
no one answers the phone for hours...;-(
I have attempted to get a face to face appointment for over three weeks--as of yet received to communication..
Not just this office but the whole system is of no help. On the IRS website they dont even have phone numbers or e-mails to contact them. My tax return has been filed since February and I still havent got my return yet. Im pissed.
How are we supposed to reach them if the ph number is out of service?? Seriously this is just basic for anyone! Ho come the government don't post a real number?? How unprofessional really.
Telephone is disconnected as of 4/14/15. Someone really needs to update this site.
I went to make a payment. Lunch is plainly posted 12:30 to 1:30. I got there at 12:23 and I was told to come back at 1:30. The guard turned me away, and did not even ask me what I needed. Great government working here.
I am getting stressed to no end because you will not answer the phone. We the taxpayers are paying you to sit there and drink coffee all day.
Worst experience ever their automated sevice is absolutely useless. Just needed to ask a question and couldvNOT get a representative. I had to drive down there after work. Laziest people ever
That IRS office is a joke. They can never help, all they direct you to do is to call the federal office. I could have figured that out all on my own. What good are they and what purpose do they serve? An automated service would be just as good and save San Antonio a hell of a lot of money.
The phone number listed is no longer active.
Can't even get office hours--terrible
What do you mean "hours fluctuate"? This is a government office and should have standard hours! I hope your pay checks fluctuate consistent with the hours you are actually open!
The recording that gives the E-mail to schedule an appointment is completely unintelligible. The woman's information is way too fast, can't understand it. Totally unacceptable. I have been homebound for 5 months. I can't shedule an appoinment!!
The contact number is useless. It provides no usable way to contact anyone in that office. Shameful!
I went there today to get copies of W2 and W3 forms. The officer was very accommodating and friendly. I had a good experience with the people in the building as well.
This office is a joke. What are they there for if they can not provide the servicers you are seeking. More people accepting a paycheck for nothing. Oh they are only there to collect money for the IRS. By the way it would have been up to me there would have been no rating at all.
simply the best IRS
I was in the office Oct 22, 2014 with a tax addendum that was prepared by H&R block, instead of me owing 16,000. to IRS, it was discovered that the IRS owes me close to 6000.00. I was told it could take up to 12 weeks to receive my funds, it is now 1-5-15, I have not received anything. So glad I don't owe them, they charge interest. How much longer will it be??
What time they open and closed?
What are your hours from open to close?
The persons in back of divided wall very helpful, different story for the older lady working front desk. She's one of the rudest people, I've been face to face with this woman three times, once I asked a question the required checking my payment history, she became so enraged she kick her file cabinet very hard. In one conversation we had she said her retirement was pass due. She should take it, it's very clear she beyond helping people, there only for pay check.
I went to this site on Monday the 15 Of December. I spoke with a very nice Gentleman. He answered all my questions. I had no problems,
We are Canadians who winter in Phoenix. We had a few questions which were answered completely and pleasantly.
I visited this office today to get help, the employees here are very rude. Before I could finish explaining what I needed, rudely interrupted me. He was just very arrogate, I told him he was being arrogate and that when he refused to assist me. I can't believe any public servant could act this way.
On the door it says they're open till 4:30pm. Apparently that translates in reality to 3:30pm. I was there at 3:30 and the whole office was gone.
I called multiple times during what shows as business hours. No one ever answers the phone.
I have been in that office many times and the people who have issues with the IRS staff or security guard have them because they come in and act like idiots. Act like an idiot and be treated like one.
This IRS office, like all of them is impossible to call, and if you do get through you are met with stock put off helping answers. To bad it is not conducted like a real business.
Please post the right phone number, I've trying and is doesn't work!!! FIX IT !!!!! thanks.
The number listed is WORTHLESS! The recording states there is NO phone service to either Springfield OR Joplin. Further, the office requires an appointment to see an ajent in person. But, there is NO WAY to get that appointment! It is indicative of a tyrant organization when there is no ability to contact but what THEY choose. I live too far away to go visit their office. I can not call, and I have been contacted by a scamming entity trying to pose as the IRS. Public, Be Aware!!
I drove all the way from Boynton to find out that they "aren't accepting anyone but people who are making payments" security guards were inconsiderate and extremely rude. I went on August 7th, around 10:30am.
The hours are correctly listed on the IRS.gov website under contact your local office. The person working there was by himself and if there is an issue in the office or outside the office he is forced to shutdown. Now that there is a new person it happens less frequently.
I got a letter from IRS, and have couple of special questions need to be answered. The officer just very moody and talked in a bad tone. No question answered, but terribly hurt. DONT go there, CANT get help from there
Why do we need this organization? They cannot even tell you if your transcripts are ready so you can have them sent to the college of your choice. Automated phone calls suck the life out my faith in the government's ability to do anything resembling "For the People!"
I have been trying to contact the IRS office for sometime. I have had no success contacting the national office or the local office. I keep getting letters to contact IRS. But..... impossible task.
Only two people to help which only one is ever there at one time. The service is so slow and I have been there several times for the same issue. The only good thing they have going is they have a great security guard! So people if you can stay far away from this location!!!
What the automatic message actually says is that they don't take calls. It says no appointment is needed just go down there and you can talk to someone face to face. I went down there it was quick and easy.
Since the funding was cut and they lost people I am sure it was difficult for them. Last year I know they were down to one person servicing a large region. But in February I know they had a second person and their hours were correctly posted in the website and on their door. Since I have to go in there all the time I know you are very mistaken.
Hi, I haven't been able get in contact with the office because it goes to voice mail and we can't find the address. I wanted to know I could have a copy sent to my address. 1415 W Scott Pl.
no information about parking for this office?? Where is parking available is there parking close by for wheelchair or handicap? Why cant you provide that information???
Awful No help at all. Indecipherable phone tree! Egad!!
I need the adrees and what time is open becouse i need for tomorrow thanks
This office does not provide live telephone service so there is no way to find out if they are closed during normal working hours. I have driven there twice during normal working hours and each time it has been closed on an unscheduled basis. There should be some way to let customers know if the office is going to be closed without requiring them to waste the time to drive there. This is completely unacceptable.
you can not call them, but I went to the office and they were very helpful with the problem that I presented.
Hardly had to wait to visit with irs agent. The agents were very informative and helpful. The front desk person was a bit rude but the agents that I dealt with were good. When you have to visit the IRS, just the thought of it can be upsetting. Overall a very positive experience
Can't get transcripts at this location. What more do you expect from your scum bag U. S. Govt. !
Wow, I cant believe all the negative remarks about this office. There are supposed to represent our Government at work. What a sad situation. No wonder everyone I know sees the US as going rapidly down hill!
Phone number listed for this location seems to be invalid.
Have placed calls several times to the number listed on website, and everytime it comes back giving a set of numbers and says unavailable, so my rating at the moment is zero
The service here is TERRIBLE. Also, the security guard is rude.
This branch office is not available...The building there (Post Office) was closed down. Please double check the information for a current location in Erie PA.
Why do you show a telephone number for public contact, when the recording is of little or no use? A real human being on the phone would do much more good in one minute than a recording can do in a week.
I called this number (4/1/14) and it says it has been disconnected. Lovely.
Office open until 4:30. If your not there by 8 am to pull a number don't bother. You will wait all day. By 11:30 no more numbers available. Taxpayers sit all day trying to stay awake.
If you have to deal with the IRS - it doesn't get any better than this! Pleasant and cooperative.
This site was very easy to find, I am empress with all the option it offers. Keep up the good work.
Tried to reach this office on a Tuesday at 200pm. Got a recording that only said "the person you've tried to reach is not available"...and offered no other information regarding hours, leaving a message....anything!
Out of forms when visited in January. In February, closed supposedly due to power shortage, but all other businesses in same building were open. Ridiculous! (Even for a government office.)
set hours posted on the website would be nice. .instead of guessing when they might be open
It's TAX season --- why isn't anyone answering the phone so I can find out the hours of operation? No hours are posted online, so the phone call was necessary. I don't want to drive 25 miles round trip to find out that no one is there (as my husband did 2 weeks ago!) With all the unemployed people searching for jobs, couldn't the IRS find enough people to adequately staff the Lancaster office?! Really love how my tax dollars are being used at this location . . .
It's tax season and I need tax forms. One would think they would be open all the time now but no. The are closed Thursdays and Fridays January 15th thru April 15th! WHAT? Now I have to take a day off to get my forms? And I agree with the surly attitudes comment. They have never been pleasant in all the years I've been going. I would have been fired long ago at my company with an attitude like theirs.
I have had alot of help and courtesy at this office. I go there every year.
This office is the perfect example of why our government is failing. You call the number and it just rings with no answer, no message, no forward. Is thus a shell office for some other unsanctioned business?
I found most forms but the most important general instruction booklets were all gone. The staff needs to stock up and have a huge amount of these available. Overall my experience was good.
The telephone number is working. off to a bad start on this research for the IRS in Landover MD
Anyone afraid of the IRS or having personal struggles don't ignore them. They are so willing to work with you. They have your best interest in mind too. I was told they would rather have me come in and work with me than not do anything. Super people
So friendly and really care. Willing to work with you as long as you just go in and just work it out. Very pleased. Just how I treat others
We were in and out within 10 minutes, Gentleman who helped was very friendly.
The office is still there just a little tricky to find.
I totally agree, the two ladies are rude, ignorant and un-professional. It is high time IRS makes badly need change and replace them with better employee. The security guard is more nicer and professional than the two ladies.
I went to this location this morning and the woman who decided she was not interested in helping me. TOLD ME TO FIND SOMEONE MY OWN RACE AND THAT SHE WAS NOT WILLING TO HELP ME. She does not need to work for the IRS. I will be reporting her. I almost had a heart attack!
horrible service, non existant period.
i was in there less than 10 minutes total. friendly lady and very helpful
I been very serious... Wtf why when I got there and no body there and it's not even lunch time!!! Door is closed....Where the people go? Is any where have a good worker in it????????
The office itself is nice, there's only ever a few people working so be prepared to sit awhile. Also the 302-0999 number listed is disconnected.
Thank you soo much!!! , great help
If you updated your new address on the website. I rode up and down Eastern Blvd. looking for 2801, called the # listed and that's when I learned that the office had moved to 2670 Industrial Hwy. When I finally found the office, I was told by two security guards that the office closed early due to "staffing issues" - I'm sure that is code for furloughed fed workers with the government near a shutdown. Very frustrating . . . .
I AGREE 100%! The employee treat you like you are bothering them! No one smiles or greets you pleasantly! It is worth it to go out of your way to another office just to get real customer service. Shaking my head!!!
nice and helpful
I dialed the above phone number listed, only to wait for a full 5 minutes without ANY response! Not even a recorded message! That, folks, is because the phone number is INCORRECT! tThe correct phone number to the IRS office in Van Nuys is : (818) 779-3625. Hope I have helped someone looking for this number.
The telephone number listed has been disconnected and the website should be updated with the correct information.
always so fast and so friendly.
Thank you for the great assistance we received in clearing our tax debt.
This is the most inefficient IRS Office in Atlanta. They have people waiting in line in hallway before they can even sign in. Then they make you wait for over an hour to drop off just a payment. I have been to the efficient office in Chamblee and they should give tips on how the office should be run. People just sitting and waiting just leave money. There should be a payment only line (they know that what you are doing because you are given a special number) also that is the way it is done in Chamblee. This is the most ridiculous office from the rude sitting security guard telling people when they walk in that the line forms in the hall (how would they know). Don't go here if you can make it to another location it is just not worth the time and definitely not the wait.
Whats tha point of having a number where you cant get the help u need??
If you call the number posted and listen carefully, there is another number to call. If you have specific questions, you need to call the number the recording gives and leave a detailed message. It can take a few days due to the Feds leaving them understaffed but they will call back.
this informatio sucks. all it gives you is a taped message but no way to speak with someone or get in touch with an agent. i am trying to reach the agent working on my case becasue i left the number at home but there is no way to reach him or at a minimum leave a message
After taking a number and waiting for 1 1/2 hours I had to use the restroom. But guess what they don't have a restroom for anyone to use except for the people who work there. I had to leave the building and walk to the Greyhound Bus station a block and 1/2 away. So don't drink anything and bring a book.
