This location has terrible service. They are dishonest, inexperienced, and utterly rude. They do not allow certain cdp # because of policies which do not exist at any other locations in the world. The guy helping me made about five mistakes on my rental. Please save yourself the hassle and DO NOT use this location!

I've been renting before an SUV from this location and i was tottaly satisfyed . I will be there monday Nov 16th to rent again a Van or Suv because their are very well mantained and the staff is so friendly and professional . You guys should try them , they are the best !!!
they billed and I didn't rent the car AND the car they showed me was dirty and smelled smoky! that why I didn't rent it. I am 6'3" and asked for a mid size at least and the offered a compact!! will not ever go back there I'd catch a trailway bus first
Charged $45, told it was because I had a dog in the car. THIS WAS NOT TRUE!! Yes, I have dogs, and cats, 9 total - so my clothes are bound to have animal hair on them. I asked if this was an issue and was told NO before we rented the car. Then they charged me $45. Called to dispute and was very RUDELY sent to someone else. Any way to steal money from customers. Just WRONG. Will NEVER rent from them again.
I rented a vehicle from Hertz in Covington, La. The car reeked of cigarette smell. All of the tires were low on air pressure. On the second day that I had the rental, the low air pressure indicator came on. I had to go to the dealership to get all the tires aired. I called to see about getting another vehicle and was told that there weren't any vehicles available. I asked for a discount on the vehicle due to my dissatisfaction with the vehicle plus having to get the tires aired. They wouldn't refund me any money. I actually paid about 50% more than the going rate. I will never rent from Hertz again!
Upon getting to the pick up counter, agent apologized for giving away my car. No cars in my class, so i had to take a downgrade or wait hours. Fine, stuff happens. No problems with the car itself. After returning the car, hertz charged me for 5 extra days. I called, waited for over 20 minutes and spoke to a rude customer service agent who eventually said there would be an investigation and we'd hear back in 48 hours. Four days later, still nothing. I wrote an email through the hertz website w all of the details, no response. Called again, on hold for 20 min again, customer service agent said to call local pick up location, all managers "too busy" to talk. I called local pick up location. The guy hung up on me. When I called back, he said that he had to take another call. He reported that a manager would contact me in the next day. Overall, 3 weeks later, I still have charges for a car that I was no longer using. Both the pick up location and hertz as a corporation failed. I will not be using hertz in the future.
I recently rented a car from Kurt Blaha at the Cape Fear Airport in Oak Island, NC. I have rented many cars over the years from various agencies and this was the most pleasant experience I ever had...thanks to Kurt Blaha.
I reserved and paid for a car online with this location with Hertz. Later, I found out they put a charge on the account for an upgrade, which I did not authorize and it took me a half an hour and 4 phone calls to get it refunded. SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED!!
The guy that works here is a complete fool, rude and entirely an idiot.
They charge too much. 246 for 3 days for a compact Corolla. $96 for the same thing, same duration from Budget, go there instead.
But that guy working behind the desk was absolutely disgusting, and an incredible failure. HAD to rent the car for the long weekend because of last min plans and he was the only one with 3 cars on the lot. Wonder why.
Made a reservation for 12:00; got to the office and was told no cars until 2:30. I had planned my afternoon around having a vehicle. Called later and was told it would be pushed back to 4:30. Went somewhere else for a vehicle. It will be a long time before I go back to Hertz.
Booked a reservation a monthago for 11:30am pick up. when I arrive there are over 100 people standing around waiting for a vehicle. This is the worst case of overcooking I have ever witnessed. And they make no apologyiesfor it. I was just told " is their peak season and this is how it is" words straight from the manager! Sad option. After I was her 1 hour the mge finally told the clerks to stop booking new reservations. .. ya think? !!! When I asked if something happened to cause such delay I was assured by Ivy that it is always life this on Mondays and Tuesdays! Really? ? Today is Wednesday! ! I have rented from budget and now and have never experienced this kind of disaster. the one time budget would not handle they set me up with another company and I had a TOTAL 25 minute delay. I am already at 1.5 hours and all waiting. My time matters too. I have already missed one meeting.
Took us two trips, two hours wasted, to find out a car they called us about and said was ready was really not available. Staff is overwhelmed and dysfunctional. Associated with Midway Auto, so we will avoid the whole chain. Went to Enterprise up the street and had a car in 10 min.
Albree is great, very efficient and friendly. Always a no hassle experience. They will be relocating across the street in June, so double check before you go.
Doesn't feel friendly for blacks at this store or any of the hertz locations no minorities at any locations and unwelcoming feeling walking in airport location unfriendly as well needs new staff been renting there years when there was minorities working why the change

This was the WORST experience I have ever had trying to rent a car. The staff, though they attempted to be helpful, lacked the knowledge of their system, protocol and generally had a lack of motivation to get anything done. After waiting in line at their location for 45 mins I still had not been able to rent a car. I've never seen so many potential customers walk out of a rental place.
I have rented from this Hertz Location several times. Each and every time the staff has done everything they could to make sure I got the best value and vehicle for my money. They have assisted me in selecting best pick up and drop off times, feedback on rental models available and helpful in every way. I rent from hertz often but this location is by far the best I've ever been to. Definitely going to rent from them again.
Hertz ugh! After waiting hours for someone to pick me up and no one showed I called back to be picked up by someone that looked like she rolled out of bed and didn't change her pjs. Arrived at location to be told about charges that were not quoted to me and at the end they wouldn't accept my credit card. Had to pay to take the bus home then to enterprise. Which went as smoothly as always
I highly recommend this location. The service and total experience was AWESOME!
This particular Hertz location is beyond Outstanding!!! Awesome staff! They ALWAYS take my requests seriously and have NEVER let me down!!!!
We're fairly new to the Charlotte area and were searching for a good price for a rental car. AARP has good prices for Hertz cars and I already knew they have a good reputation, so we tried this location. Just rented our 2nd car from them because the 1st experience was so good! Awesome customer service, great cars. Oh and you don't have to worry about them trying to scam you over dents you know nothing about. It's just not their policy. They are truly on the up and up.
I would not rent from here. The staff is unprofessional. The manager has inappropriate relationships with clients. The cars are always dirty. I don't see how the corporation continues to let this place run like this.
worst car rental ever... I made a reservation for a rental yesterday... i called to make sure they got it.. i go today at the time I reserved the car and to my surprise I was told they did not have any cars available so I asked if she could ( antoanette ) check another location... A couple of minutes later she said there was nothing in Chicago available and maybe if I'm lucky she could get me one in the south suburbs... More than 40 miles drive? This is crazy!! She told me she will call me if someone returns a car at some point... Never heard from her. i'm not sure how this company its on bussiness.
Be very careful with the Hertz in Bedford Hills. 1) Condition of car report: When I took delivery of the car at the BMW dealership in Mt Kisco, it was the early am. The car was covered in morning dew...and they wanted me to gauge the car for scratches, dents and issues. I told them it was difficult due to the current car condition. 2) They told me the car was 5/8 tank of gas, but the fuel gauge dropped to 1/2 tank within 2 miles of the pickup 3) When I returned the car car at 5/8 (having just filled up) they later charged me $19.27 for gas saying it wasnt at the required level. 4) When I called to discuss they were unable to rectify I feel it is my responsibility to warn others of their poor business practices (as I told Hertz I would do).
