My HEB has everything most of the time that I am looking for. There has been a few times that the shelves were missing some items I needed. Overall, it's a great store! The Pharmacy however is not as friendly or competent as the grocery store.
just wanted to mention to you that your flag is frayed on the edges and should be replaced. other than that, i've always enjoyed shopping at this store. do be aware of the condition of the American Flag that so many of us have fought for. God Bless the USA!
Im not too sure if there is anything bad to say about this store. Every time I visit, I am greeted and helped in any way that I need. The employee's are extremely kind and patient. As for the managers, it is the same way. Thank you, HEB 19!

I was passing through College Station going to Waco on 8/14/14 when I stopped briefly at this store to see if I could find there what my local store was out of. I encountered a number of employees who were very friendly and volunteered their assistance. I had not experienced this degree of friendliness at any other store. So I wanted to say thanks for the great service and friendly atmosphere. They also had the item I was looking for so I purchased 5.

Excellent service and supply. Lots of whole food products available. Organic and freshest of selections. We are blessed to have them. One stop shop!!!
The staff is friendly and helpful. but I don't shop at this location any longer, even though I have lived two blocks away fo the past 30 yrs. This location has gone downhill as far as selection and quality. They only cater to HEB and Hill Country Village Brands. Both are inferior. I drive 14 mile to the HEB Superstore at the corner of Banders Road and l604, it's worth the drive. Or I drive to Evans Road Superstore. My neighbors also refuse to shop at the 2929 Thousand Oaks Drive. We all only shop there if we want one or two items only. The produce is inferior also. They have tried to make it appear more "farmer marketish" but the efforts do not make up for the inferior produce.
I would like to know why there is never any Dreyers no sugar added ice cream and no HEB brand zero cokes ??? I have been a customer of HEB for years , born in San Antonio, lived in Lufkin and now Livingston . I am diabetic so that means no sugar products . I was in HEB today and still no products , have complained before to no avail , told it was up to the stockers. Didn't know stockers ran HEB . Would like an answer . Brookshires down the street has them , guess I can start going there and give them my $200.00per week !!
Terrible phone service. Managers seem to know hardly anything. Very unhelpful.
Much of the time, all registers have lines and there aren't enough lanes open.
I get charge regular price for items that are on sale all the time! This mus be a multi-million dollar scam!
After this major renovation, I was really hoping that the store would expand their small town type fare; however, it's worse than it was before. The produce department is bigger, but all they did was add a bunch of apples!!! I needed fresh garlic...didn't have it. Always look for fennel...didn't have it! The meat department didn't expand, all they did was add a bunch of processed meat cases...yuck!!! If they think that that's a fresh fish case, they've got to be nuts!!! Went down the pet isle only to find that they've quit carrying pet toys, leashes, shampoo, etc. Elgin doesn't have a Petco, and I don't want to pay extra high prices at the feed store for dog shampoo! Went to get computer paper and guess what? They were out! They probably only order a case of paper at a time. Elgin doesn't have an office depot either. The renovation was a waste of time. It didn't improve the store at all.

One of the worse HEBs in the city and one of the smallest. They modeled it to be worse than before, it seems like complete chaos when i go into it. I'm sure the customers they get don't help much either. No wonder this location is surrounded by two Walmarts and a Target.

Yesterday,I went by the store and I was waiting on my other half in the front to grab a barbacue sauce that we forgot to grab that was a freebie on a combo loco. So I waited up by the self checkout until he returned. Meanwhile,A little boy about the age of 9 was lost and asked one of your employes by the name of Phillip that was working at #5 during peak busy hours.I have to say I was beyond impressed by his professionalism and caring nature for the situation. He was VERY efficient,polite,caring & acted so quickly on the matter.He stopped very quickly and walked the boy over to have a seat at the bank area in the front,told him "Dont worry were going to find your mother don't be afraid,everything is going to be alright.Dont be scared,your safe now and everything is going to be ok. Dont be scared.I am going to help you find your mom right now." Phillip got on to the mic and called for the boys mother and he was able to get back to checking out customers with a smile & true grace.Until a young lady went over to claim the boy. Phillip was able to make sure that the child was being returned properly & keep working like a pro. I was very impressed he deserves a metal,a pat on the back,promotion or a raise. You can tell that a employee like him is not easy to come by,he has the gift of clarity & vision.He handles stressful situations with a smile.I just wanted to share what I witnessed with you as a spectator & a customer at Thousand Oaks. -Yvette

We are tired when we get off work. We just want to get in and out and get home. Seems to be a shortage of baggers esp at that busy hour and the checker is bagging which makes for long lines.Even with a Floater, more baggers are needed. pls help to get us in and out more quickly at that time. Thank you.
This is the Cleanest HEB in the city. The employees are friendly also!
This is a wonderful store. Great people. The only thing I would add to it, is a wider variety of prepared foods.
Even though I show up to shop 15 minutes to close they are courteous and helpful.
The employees are top notch. I'm a senior citizen with limited mobility and often times need help. I'm always accommodated with a cheerful smile and never hear a complaint. When I shopped at Kroger on Mason and Westheimer Parkway I encountered a few nice employees but far more rude and unhelpful employees. Management didn't seem to care and my complaints fell on deaf ears. So I took my $800 month budget to HEB. The prices and selection are far better than Kroger. That coupled with wonderful employees is a win-win situation for me. Thank you HEB for making what at times can be a physically challenging and painful experience a whole lot better.
