Review for: Frisch's Big Boy Restaurants in Heath, OH
Disappointing
I've visited about 5 times since they opened. Usually the onion rings, make the visit worth it...usually. This last time they were underdone and chewy, both the first order as an appetizer and the one with my burger. Food rarely comes out piping hot. Burgers tasteless and overdone. Ordered Super Big Boy without tartar sauce. It was delivered without lettuce. Went to salad bar to find things to make it likeable. Didn't really find it pleasing. Salad bar items could be colder and crisper.
I mentioned to the cashier the onion rings were underdone. She suggested I ask they be cooked longer next time. They were not cooked properly this time and I don't want them overcooked in the event they would be otherwise be perfectly cooked next time.
The restaurant was not busy at all so that takes away that excuse. Basically, only one visit there was actually satisfying. When the onion rings are a fail, there's no reason for me to return.
The wait staff are just fine. It's always been the quality of the food that has been lacking. It's far from how I remember Big Boy Restaurants to be as a kid.
