Both my brother and I stopped by recently to have our operators licenses renewed and it made for a pleasant experience. The staff was knowledgeable, helpful, quick, and efficient. Combined with their friendliness, the experience was first rate!
these people are very rude to eveveryone i have seen and heard of going I tried to use our local offic and they are rude and mean ladies
Today I went to DMV in Gonzales to renew my driver's license. I was there from 11:30 am until 2:00 pm. Why do you not have more people at the windows? There were people walking around behind the desks but not helping us. Why?
I cannot even make an appointment and that phone number does not work.
"Hours fluctuate" is not helpful at all. There is even a typo in what one star stands for!
I went in for renewal, I made an an online appointment and was seen within 2 min. Of getting there, totally awesome, the clerk was also courteous and professional. I'll come back to this office for sure.
The licensing office in White Salmon is amazing, so fast and so friendly. FYI, Vehicle registration is ran by someone else at a different location in town. They are, sadly, not so friendly nor fast.

Every time I come here , the wait is excessive. The "staff" is far from courteous. In fact they are just rude. The driver services in the Oxford area is pleasant. They don't take more than twenty minutes any time I've ever been there ... And the staff is ALWAYS friendly. I will do my absolute best to ne'er step foot into this facility again. .. Even though I live across the street.
I recall of my last experience years ago was very poor customer service; such that I never returned. Now Im back in Va & require DMV services. One Website list their hours as "hours fluctuate." Yeah, that's seems "typical of that Office." What does it mean?--whenever they show up for work? Other Offices give their actual hours & days of operation. Didn't bother to check any other sites. Hope any other Websites it has are different.
I was on contact with 3 different employees at this DMV office on dec 2 2013 They were all rude, unpleasant attitude and completely unprofessional

I would like to thank you for all of your help in solving our problem earlier this month. Instead of just saying something couldn't be done, the very nice lady went to her supervisor and found a way to complete the necessary paperwork for us. We are not from Florida but really appreciated her time, patience and help.
Do yourself a favor and don't come on weekends or bring your kids.
It's not your run of the mill, get out and get back in line for something silly that can be resolved per the branch. I've always been treated with courtesy, and respect, with patience/helpful in anyway possible. They are great people who really will go out of their way to make life and gov hassles much more tolerable. Thank you for your put standing service, you are all much appreciated!!
hi I am moveing to granstburg,wi and my lisens from Minnesota is expirering on december4 th do I have to come to your place to get a wi lisens now? do you have to give me wi plates?
I find it a little discouraging when you call the number listed and hear that it's disconnected.
I know that there are times we all get frustrated with our jobs, but that is no reason to be rude to anyone. There has been a number of times I've had to go in the Lonoke DMV and sometimes it was a nice experience. Until of late, I ask a simple question and get met with rudeness. If you work with public you can not be rude. There are a few people who have hade the same experience.
Karen from Woodland WA DMV is very mean to her customers she has terrible people skills i am not sure why she is working with the public actually or aloud to? But either way laughing at people and making smart ass comments such as good luck with that in a rude tone instead of politely helping make sure we are helped nicely. Karen I will pray for you and hope you stop treating people so poorly.
After waiting from 12:30pm to 1:30pm in the DMV parking lot, it would have been nice if a website or even a sign on the door stated lunch hours for the DMV Employees so I wouldn't have to waste my time waiting more than the waiting game they play with you once inside the building..
One bilingual employee who can barely speak English is working the front desk. This place is a joke. If you want to see our government at its best swing by the arrowhead DMV!
Title says it all.They change there hours when they fell like,also what they can do between those hours ie.no titles after 2 pm ,no license between 9-10 or yes license between those hour,closed,no open,no people so they r slow ,if busy they r slow etc. Its sucks rather pay 100 dllrs extra then that nonsense
The people who work here are arrogant. They will fail you on the most ambiguous thing. They will fail you even when you do as they say, and even if you manage to do everything correctly.
you are better off getting brain cancer than goin to the here to get anything done.

I went to the DMV today and was not very happy when I left. First when I went to get my picture the lady was being rude asking why my mom was coming up with me. Then after taking my picture we sat down and waited. For 40 minutes. While people that came after us came and went within 10 minutes. After getting up to the desk the guy that helped me was extremely nice and I'm seriously wondering why he works with such rude people when he was polite. After going there I can tell you that I am going elsewhere to a different DMV.
White salmon is the old time service type of place.You step back in time and its a pleasure. Never have I heard do many jokes about slow dmv's. Also I have been to others.Washington is a great place.
This used to be my favorite DMV in the whole US!!! There's barely ever any people, one/two the most. Very laid back, western style State office. Until today... They are open till 5pm, at least that's what it says online and on the window. Not really, they close their system at 4:30 regardless if anybody is there or not. I understand in a busy office where you wait for two hrs, those people do want to go home too, I get it, they want to be done by 5 or so. But to sit there and bullshit with other worker and not be willing to do what they're paid for till 5pm is just not right. Unfortunately, it is the only DMV with no long lines in Metro area of PHX and I will be returning there...
and my rating is a negative star>>>>>these people are slow as Hell...I waited 2 hours and As i was called the testing machine Conveniently "broke".....as it always does when they get swamped.. i think they just get Lazy.. seen 4-5 people in there and 1 maybee 2 widows open... ..there was so many people they ran out of tickets in the machine..
Phone is always busy and there is no other option to be able to speak with someone at the location.

This location of the DMV has absolutely terrible customer service. I was given bad information on three different occasions, which cost me time I do not have. When I confronted the manager about my issues hoping she could do something to resolve the issue, she responded with "Im sorry you receied bad information" and left it at that. Nothing was resolved, and I left yet again with the same problem. Their customer service is absolutely beyond awful.
I called a little panicked. John was so helpful and relaxed. First time I have EVER called a DMV/DOL and received a clear, considering answer in one call. Very happy with this location!
I called there just to ask a simple question regarding a transaction I had made to pay for my plates last week and the lady I talked to was the most disrespectful, ill mannered woman I've ever talked to. I couldn't believe how short tempered and completely rude she was. This was at 9:30 in the morning even! I feel bad for everyone that walks through the door to deal with her today. I don't think someone like that should be working at a job that has to deal with the PUBLIC every day. Be professional and don't give the company you work for a bad name just because you may be having a "bad day."

Today I went to renew my license which I was dreading due to previous experiences. I did not have to wait, I was acknowledged as soon as I walked in the door but that was not the best of my day. A lady named Ms. Turner was not only quick to process my need but she was the most pleasant person that I have ever delt with at DMV in my 50 years of driving. I think people are quick to criticize when things don't go the way they expect, but I thought it necessary to give Ms. Turner my thanks for being so nice and making my day more pleasent.
The worst possible service on the planet. Slow, unhelpful, useless people. Multiple cubicals unattended driving the wait times to 1.5-2.0 hours. Receptionist won't answer any questions but will give you a ticket so you can wait the 2 hours then be told you don 't have the right documents and to come back another day. The worst!
Came early, before doors opened. One of the first in line, and still ended up waiting over 2 hours. Out of the 8 stations they have, only 3 were open, and at times, only 1 was operational. Employees drag their feet as if they were working 24 hours. Some were eating breakfast instead of serving patient customers. If you want fast service, no matter what you do, or how early you get in line, it doesn't help. DMV and its employes are worth shit in my opinion.

The DMV offices in Spokane are a rude joke to their customers. Plan on waiting and wasting your life at these germ infested waiting rooms. There is no reason why people have to deal with this crap. When I walked into this office, there were close to 30 or more people waiting and 2 girls doing to work. I can only imagine that this place is just as bad to work for as it is to wait in. DMV is voted #1 as the most unorganized organization in this state. Something needs to be done soon because it just can't continue like this for the respect of the people who HAVE to use it. It's like being forced to use a dirty toilet and having to pay the overpriced flushing fees to get 5 TP squares.

I was told by the DMV representative in the Westport, CT office that picking up permit with all the important information filled out would be possible. NOT SO.
The people are really nice here.It's a small place and you can't get specialty licenses,but overall I liked it.
The people at this DMV were very rude and had bad attitudes! I highly suggest using a different DMV if possible, even if that means driving up to Leon & using one that is in Tallahassee! The woman who helped us was wrong in what she was saying, when I contradicted her, she disagreed with me and got upset. So I had to prove to her that she was wrong & what was actually needed by showing her papers that I printed off of the DMV website that clearly stated the necessary documents and procedures, at that point she got very defensive and didn't bother to apologize or even acknowledge she was wrong.Then she told me that, what I needed done, couldn't get done that day and that I needed to return tomorrow. I understood that, so the next day I came back only to be told that I shouldn't have come back so soon,instead that i should have waited a week! Again, she didn't even acknowledge that she was wrong when she had told us to come back! They need new training and they need treat people with respect! Their attempt to communicate with each other to help a customer was pathetic and it only confused them more! What I went in to get is still not complete due to their incompetence, hopefully we can get this wrapped up soon so I never have to return there!
This place is horrible. I was waiting for two hours for my license and saw people just walk in and were called before me. They really need to do first come first see. Noy fair people are waiting and someone just coming gets seen first. This is an outrage, im from pa and they do first come first serve.. that is the fair way
Worst DMV in northern va. Only 4 windows were open and the waiting area was full in the middle of the day. The people behind the counters don't seem to have any sort of urgency. My advice would be to go to Tysons
Most of the staff here have additude problems and are really rude. I've met 2 or 3 staff that where very nice and helpful most of the rest act like they hate their life ans take it out on the customer
Awful Place, Dirty and Slow, I had to wait 3 hours before my number was called, 30 sketchy people waiting to be called and nowhere to sit, everyone was coughing and people full of Tattoos, save yourself the pain and go to Las Cruces, NM!!! Horrible Experience!!!!!

That was the worst experience I have ever had in my life. We are polite and nice but the staff treated us so bad. There was one guy who kept making mean, rude , terrible faces to us and talked so rudely to us. And the woman standing behind him kept telling me to soft my voice but the fact was I never yell and she was so arrogant and mean that we were never treated like a customer. They were crazy people and we won't go there again!
I am extremely disappointed in the lack of professionalism and inability of the local management to resolve a very simple challenge. It seems as a responsible taxpayer, I shouldd be able to expect and receive competent customer service.

I went there and surprisingly it did go fast but they managed to not put the right address on my ID which I never received. Then when I asked about it after waiting for 2 months for it to come they tried to have me pay another 25 to get another. After many phone calls to the supervisor I finally was told the tech forgot to put my apt #, so it was sent to houston..wtf..now I have to go down there again and do it all over, but at least they arn't going to charge me..but still if you do go there check everything is correct b4 leaving and if you dont get your ID in a week or 2..call them..they might do the same to you
Mount Shasta DMV used to be a pleasure to deal with. The past couple of years the attitude of a certain female employee has become almost intolerable.
