Small wonder Comcast & the satellite companies are losing out to other options. The Comcast Pompano facility is atrocious, worse than trying to register to vote in a "developing country." Like the USPS, it's peopled by staff who generally are inefficient and uncaring, all while their industry goes the way of the dial-up modem. And all that for $140/mo. - what a deal!
called Comcast regarding bill, was given the wrong street address to exchange DVR to standard box. Had to call again due to no phone number listed on bill or I-net which took 10 min. to clarify - was told phone numbers are restricted!
Horrible service and outrageous charges. I switched to ATT and love it!
My shop is Children's Collections 5219 Bellaire Blvd, Bellaire, Tx...I spend 1/2 of my day giving people directions to Comcast..They do come back and shop...My constant comment is 'I wish they had friendly employees like you"....Sad....
I hate them I am switching back to bright house.. very disappointed after being with them for some many years..
The technician & support were both just as helpful as Erin at Tuscon store
After going thru 2routers, decided problems at modem end. Bought a modem/router mix but there was no phone connection when got home. Called technical & they troubleshot the problem. It was indeed the modem & the modem we had wasn't capable of Blast+ we have since became available. Was given address of 2 nearest locations, opting for the Tuscon branch over Inverness d/t local & busy time of day. There were 2 agents were desk & 4 customers ahead of me. One agent was dealing with complex issue while other helped other 3. I went to agent finally free named Erin. She has to be one of the best customer representatives I have ever dealt with!! (After ordering the modem, the tech had me confirm with another person we also wanted to add security system.) The exchange would have been in/out IF hadn't added to system the security. Erin very cheerfully explained to me she needed to rewrite the order so not to cancel out our install appt., & the line behind me continued to grow. Very unflustered, she quietly talked with me as she did required requisitions, got it all squared away, took old modem & went & got one with router built in for whole house wireless, new cable connects, phone, etc. She then escorted me to doors & held them open, telling me to use other door if need arose to return d/t disability issues. When telling my husband about her, he asked me to describe her & she had helped him couple months previous & he'd told me when they called to rate his satisfaction with her service to give her 5+ stars all way across. After her assisting me, I agree wholeheartedly on her being an 7-8 for above/beyond the requirements of job!!! She is a very rare gem in today's rushed, hurry-up world & an extreme breath of fresh air!!!! There are MANY today who could learn one of life's simplest lessons "treat others not just how You expect to be treated, but how you DEMAND the person you most care about be treated!! Erin exemplifies that thru her happy, kind, considerate & extremely efficient care!! Comcast is lucky to have her as a representative for their network of services & if ever I need or refer anyone, it will be thru her!!!!! Thank you Erin for turning a day that started off BAD into one that ended with such happy kindness & attention you give naturally!! Rare quality to fnd, especially given the number of people you have to deal with daily, many who are angry, offensive, hard to please as I noted a few while I was there - you excel & I gladly give you credit due - too bad it's not a salary or job upgrade, thanks will have to due!!
Customer service is terrible. I have tried several times to get service in my daughters apartment and pay for it as a gift for my daughter. Comcast will not do it because they say I owe them money when I do not. I do not live with my daughter but yet they still will not provide service to her because they feel I live with her. I live in a different town. I have tried to tell customer service this several times. All they keep saying is I am sorry but we cannot provide service to your daughter because you owe us money. I even mailed them a copy of my final bill and receipt which shows it is paid in full. They sure do not know how to keep updated records. Watch out for comcast because they will try to get money from you even when you do not owe them anything. Service is terrible!
The future of awesome, eh? Why can't I access my e-mail? After numerous waits, attempts, your "techs" can't get their act together. As soon, and I mean as soon, as my e-mail comes up I'm transferring ALL of my correspondence to Yahoo. I wish I could get rid of Comcast altogether. It boggles my mind as to how you manage to keep customers! You even bar customers from complaining to anyone but minimum wage hacks! God, I hate you people!
Unfortunately, they are the only cable company in town. I miss Time Warner Cable. The bill keeps going up, up, up and the quality of their customer service goes down, down, down.
The customer service is absolutely horrible. I called to disconnect my service three times now and every time I'm put on hold for ten minutes just so that I can be transferred to a automated telemarketer that demands my account information. After giving my information it doesn't allow me to continue any further and each time I ask to speak to a real person they keep transferring me to this stupid machine. After I disconnect I will not be paying for their services in my new apartment. I'm absolutely fed up and now I'll have to go speak with them face to face about ending my service since my local stores phone number is "disconnected".
I am now a DTV customer due to DIRECT RESULT of poor customer service from Comcast. I have NEVER been treated so rudely in my life.
The staff is plenty capable...just don't decide to to go when everyone else does. Service was fast and the staff did their job.
24 customers waiting & 1 rep - rest are laughing in the back - be prepared for an hour or two just to do business Even so, this office is better than Lake Worth which is even longer Palm beach gardens is the best bet Comcast has no regard for its customers!
Before ordering be aware there are set up and on going cost the Comcast phone personnel will try not to divulge. These charges include $10/mo per TV for HD and $50 if you want them to set up your Comcast internet service.
I asked their staff if there were any other cost I failed to ask about during two separate calls and was told, "no."
The "Instillation Appointment Confirmation" makes it look like the TV and Internet instillation is included for the listed price, but the tech will than let you know after tearing your current system down that there is a $50 charge if he sets up the internet service.
I called "Customer Loyalty" and did get $25 taken off, but that was the best refund I would get even though it is obvious their people were withheld the information I requested.
No indication on the internet but you cant walk in this store, has been closed to customers for a long time
I never recommend this company .very unfroffesional ,service is very poor ,if you have simple question ,they put you on hold for ever ,I had to deal with three Comcast employee to solve a little issue ,and I had to miss going to work for whole day ,if have a simple question you have to be on hold forever ,

I wanted to start comcast service and waited over an hour before I left the store. they were on number 11 and the lady next to me was there for almost 2 hours and she was number 23 and I was number 36. I cannot believe how slow they were. I just wanted to get a start up kit for my home. I guess I will stay with Verizon.
I have been waiting at least one hour just to return a box, there is not enough personal for the amount of people that viaita this location.

they told my husband to leave equipment in box that they would scan daily. did not give him a receipt. Now, my account that comcast can not seem to close a month after I switched companies shows my very expensive equipment as missing/not returned. I can not find a direct number to this location to call ad force them to find the equipment. We are very unhappy customers trying desperately to leave this company,.
I have tried several times to drop boxes off there..the line is always coming out of the door..i don't understand why would they not hire some more efficient people..
The phone number on the comcast website is not working. When you call you are given a new number to call. (versus simply being transferred) The store hours on the web site are inacurrate per the representative I finally talked to after navigating the call center prompts. Seems a bit ridiculous that a provider of internet services and phone services can't get it right on their own web site.
EVERY time i go to the Comcast office the line is out the door! There has been times i have waited OVER an hour. I decided to try various times of the day and the line is just as long!!! This is outrageous and something needs to be done to rectify this matter. Also, Comcast has shipped the wrong boxes to me three times charging me a shipping fee each time!
12:42 15 people waiting; 2 reps; 8 chairs. Lots of parking, tho :-) 5 min each = 75 minutes waiting! Metromobility gives you a free ride if you wait more than 45 minutes. Now 17 people...only 3 service centers in Mpls area? Please rethink this!
I ended up talking to 2 people who were both very frustrating. One was a supervisor and he kept telling me that ABC Family (Channel 52) was NOT available in San Francisco. And I kept telling him that I had watched that channel on my friend's TV (she has Comcast and she lives in San Francisco). He kept saying it wasn't available in San Francisco. "Then why was I able to watch it on my friend's TV on Comcast?" He just kept saying it wasn't available in San Francisco. I asked if he was calling me a liar. He said no. I said then how was I able to watch it on my friend's TV? He kept saying it wasn't available. I asked if he knew any logic! Clearly no one has taught him any critical thinking skills. When I was a programmer, if there was a difference between what we thought was the case and what we actually saw, we would investigate it to see why it was happening. He didn't get it at all, just kept repeating that there was no way someone in San Francisco could get that channel, because it was "not available" STUPID!

Went to return a modem and a cable box I did not order,It took me 45 mins in line.There was a elderly Man in there that all most passed out from waiting so long.There was one Lady that thank God for here keep her line moving as fast as she could.The other two women keep closing there window made no sence.Do not go there unless you really really have to.
I had Luis #2232 install my HD receiver yesterday and he was fantastic. He explained how the TV worked to me, updated my remote, set up my DVD player and was very courteous and professional. I was thoroughly impressed with him.
Thought i entered the DMV for a second, 40 people inside , 10 outside , 30 min wait per cust on average , old pissed off ladies at the counter , rent-a-cop giving orders to sit, stormed out after exactly 59 seconds.
I went to the east mountain rd westfield ma location. Margie was exceptionally helpful and nice. She answered all my questions, gave me a discount on the installation fée, and even expressed concern over a severe médical issue Im going through! 5 stars for margie!
people who work here are nice considering the working conditions. customers are forced to wait outside the waiting room which is too small to service the number of people who show up . my mood as well as other customers is usually not pleasant after waiting an hour and a half to get to the window. we often wait outside in the heat or in the rain , comcast does not care. but when the call to ask how their people behind the window are, they never ask you what you think of the way the company handles it's customers , only how the people behind the window were. please god , give us another option instead of comcast
I hate calling Comcast to get anything acomplished. You have to hit sooooooo many prompts then you talk to someone in the Phillipines that you can't understand or who says they have helped you only to find out that they messed everything up!
I just went to the 4th Ave Address listed on the Comcast website, and they are not there. The woman in the office said she has contacted Comcast to ask them to remove the information, but they have not done so. It apparently has been a few years since they were located on 4th.
The first reviewer mentions he was at the service center for an HD/DVR box exchange. My wife and I, within our first month of our new service, had our HD/DVR box malfunction on us and had to have it replaced. So it seems that this is a common issue. Phone support was very frustrating. The girl was more motivated to get us off the phone and have us wait til Friday for a tech to come out than to help us trouble shoot over the phone. Having been a manager in retail, the focus should be the customer in these situations. As a new customer I'm finding my excitement over this new change of service providers plummeting rather quickly. Tomorrow I have to sort out a billing issue as well which has equated to bill that's over $300. ...
I am very upset that I have to wait in line for an hour to return equipment....to be billed for 3 months and have to keep calling comcast to disconnect service and wait on hold for an hour at a time....hire more people please!!!! Ridiculous!!!!
I went to the hialeah office to exchange my box and found angry customers complaining how horrible that office handles. One lady advised me she has been there for 3hrs..slacking!!!!!!!!!

I looked at the hours online for this location and it says 5:30pm, however after driving 30 miles to turn in a box for an elderly person I arrived 3 minutes after five and the ladies inside the Comcast office we very RUDE! I only had one box to turn in and drove all that way to be turned away.
First of all very slow service, and the lady in first booth farthest left is poor at customer service, and always has a attitude. If she don't like people she shouldn't be in customer service. Get a different job lady mabe prison guard.

Comcast has been nothing but a rip off. I was charged 400$ for 2 months of just internet and T.V. and my comcast hook-up wire was half dead so my internet and cable barely worked and even then they said they would only refund 10$ of the total balance. Untill i told them i wanted to disconect all services they were not willing to co-operate with me. DO NOT SIGN UP.

I tried on two different occasions to get threw to this company. The first time holding for 33 minutes what kind of customer service is that after telling me there was a ten minute hold time. The company makes so much money they can't hire more people. Or maybe if this company was good they wouldn't have so many people waiting on line. I am discussed with this company. Tried to cancel a service call I had made in person. When I tried the suggestion it worked. Wanted to call and cancel. It took longer to cancel by phone than it would have taken to go back to the office and cancel. There should be a local phone number available. Way to many push buttons on to connect to someone in India. Even typing a review is a hassle with the two (now up to 6) words below and why do I need to accept terms just to comment???
First of all, the store opens at 10 AM , not 9 am as your internet site notes.
Second of all, the employees were beyond rude. On the way out of the store another customer waiting in line congratulated me for not losing my temper, and could not believe the attitude of the employee.! All I wanted was another HD DVR box!
Just thinking of what I have had to go through to resolve installation, service, repair issues makes my blood boil. EVERY phone call takes a minimum of 30 minutes to get through. Twice I've been dropped after waiting 40 minutes. Comcast uses their policies for their convenience. If they don't want to help you they will throw their "policies" at you for a reason they can't help. They do not return calls as promised. Nothing went well for the installation and they did damage that took a week to get repaired. They only reason they handled the damage was becasue I was relentless in calling. I have Direct TV at my home and have no issues. My Mom wanted Comcast, so we went with them at her house. DON'T use Comcast, they don't care.

The office is ok. The comcast boxes are terrible. Made in China, they last maybe, on the average about two months. These are the boxes that allow access to "on demand". Usually, that's what ceases to work after many frustrating experiences. This time, the whole box ceased to work. I have had a technician to look at my system; the same problems with the box continue. This is just a shoddy box; Comcast should be supplying a reliable one. I have never problems swapping one for another shoddy one. This is maybe my 5th or 6th swap. Their boxes use to be ok..

Went to location to bring back items after cancelling account with comcast. Stated they closed at 6:00pm on Wednesday. Got there at 5:25pm and doors where already locked and ladies inside just looked at me. Good bye comcast!
Awful!!!!! The WORSE customer service I have ever dealt with. To bad, such an awesome city to have such a terrible cable company. DISH IS THE WAY TO GO!!! 200 hundred more channels & half the price, not to mention the monthly bill is always the same & doesn't go up EVERY MONTH FOR NO REASON!!!
no home cable service...have called and talked to 3 different customer service agents....continious run around and still nothing fixed...can't get anybody to call and schedule a service tech to fix the problem....have had the same problems multiple times!

poor service. beware when leaving Comcast take modem to local Comcast outlet and hand deliver but get signature. I left modem in drop box and now Comcast is holding $90 of my money until they get the modem which they have had for over a month.

Paid bill on line. Plenty of funds in banking account. Comcast charged $25.00 non-sufficient funds fee because they said the payment was returned. Bank said no charges were made to my account. Comcast customer service refused to reverse the charge, claiming it was legitimate. What a ripoff! If it wasn't such an inconvenience, I'd switch to Centurylink.
