waited 1hr with family and baby just to eat
waited 1hr with family and baby just to eat
Had fun
We decided to bring some family to Chili's in north Lakeland and the food was really bad. The slider burgers were salty and the meat dry, the southwestern rolls were cold and dry the buffalo boneless wings were hard as a rock. My daughters mash potatoes were dry and tasteless. The only good thing was the tortillas and salsa and the soda. Will never visit again.
This place is filthy , inside and out . Trash everywhere . It is a shame , used to be a nice place to go .
every time I go with my family or co-workers, the staff is very friendly & outgoing. love this place. AND when we order over the phone, they get the order correct every time!!!
Food quality sucks. Been here 3 times in 45 days and ordered the same thing each time. Original chicken crispers. Over cooked .....then no.batter at all manager acts like nothing wrong .............no agreement that it's wrong just "can I get you something else." Today fries are burnt.......over cooked and the crispers as well. This sucks! Someone find the management new jobs they FAILED over .....and over.....again. This location in Humble Tx. and the Woodlands Tx.location as well and $5 off gift certificates don't fix stupid lazy employees .........
My family and I waited for over an hour to be seated and never got sat! They had given us complimentary chips and salsa for waiting and we finished the chips and salsa in the lobby and were still waiting to never be sat! The customer service was terrible and they need new management or a whole new staff! Terrible and the experience was awful and I WILL NEVER GO BACK!
Mom and I enjoy chili's very much. We are both on a diet so we love your salads. We are a little disappointed that you no longer have the white chocolate rassberry molten cake. It is our favorite sinful desert in the whole wide world. Mom and I are going to your dinner for dads and daughters day on wed. The 23rd. I am coming with my mom sense my dad is past on. Hope that's OK. Is there a certain time that we should be there? Thank you. Sincerely Arlinda
Love the chain, however this location is very slow and managers seem not to really care. I have gone more than a dozen times and you would think I would stop. Well I have now. Food is good just don't go when you are on limited time.
My husband and I sat at the table for 10 mins without a waitress . Several times an employee went past our table,, but none stopped. When we finally placed our order it was at least 15 mins before our order arrived. I ordered a salad.. It was actually 1/3 of the size it was a mere 3 months before. This was our second trip to this chili's and the service/ food was just as bad then. We will not return to that particular chili's and probably not a chili's restaurant for a long time! Sorry, we gave you a second chance, but that didn't help!
This is to thank everybody at chili's and most of all my server who was the BEST !! ( Sierra ) will be going back for more. That is about 20 miles and yes there are closer chili's but I don't care.
9/11/13 had lunch there today, what a waste of money! first, let me tell you i like good service but, 2 waiter's/waitress's is a little over board. i oreded a frozen margarita, and it tasted like lime juice, so sour i couldn't even drink it. served with no napkin and dripping all over the table. for lunch my friend and i order 2 for $20, what a mistake!( chicken, chicken, chicken.) i order a chicken fajita, what a surprize! chicken, lot's of onions, few green peppers. about 2ozs. of lettuce, cheese, and sour cream. and of course i paid extra for guacamole. 3 shells . i was so dissapointed.O forgot to tell u fajita's come on a silizzing plate, so hot that the onions on the bottem were buring, and the whole thing had a burnt taste. and the sad thing is there were only about 10 people in the restaurant.
Everyone there treats me like family. All the employees are very friendly. I go there every Sunday to watch sports, I have made many good friends also there.
We had the best waiter I've ever had! The food was great and it was definitely an experience to remember.
Great food and drinks. Clean atmosphere.
The food at Chili's is Fresh, Flavorful and Delicious. Its one of my favorite places to eat. They have tasty drinks and tangy sauces. Good selection of foods. If you have never been, you should check it out.
Very disappointed, silverware was dirty, when they brought us new , the new was dirty too. Broccoli was cold and not steamed, like eating raw broccoli Rice tastes funny
Food was bland. Poor service. Overall, worst Chili's I've eaten at and I would not go back.
We enjoyed Walter as a waiter on June, 15, 2013. Thank you for attending to our table when the restaurant was very busy.
At this day and time with so many choices. The service Coby provides is beyond your needs. Fast Efficient and always a smile. I have been there several times and prefer him as a server. Food is always Perfect!!!.. He is what makes it too come back for. Even when the kitchen gets real busy. .
My husband and I went to eat dinner Saturday evening. When we walked in Chili's we were greeted by Josh, the server. He immediately told us he remembered us from our last visit which was my birthday celebration April 12. I was shocked that he remembered details such as, our drinks, the celebration and the conversation. Josh is great and when it comes to hospitality I give him a 10 for going above and beyond. Josh if you read this, thank you, we appreciated your services.
I love Chili's, but they closed the one we have here close to us, and put in an IHOP that sucks. I don't know why they closed it, but I miss it a lot. I loved their atmosphere, food, the employees were nice. This new one at 119th is really nice too, I like it there as well.
After paying for our meals which included buying chips and salsa, I asked the waitress for a bag of chips and salsa to go, she gave us a bag and said we were to put our leftover chips and salsa in it. She wasn't giving us a fresh bag or container of salsa. I was humiliated. I had 1/8 bag of chips and the bottom of container had salsa. I never had an issue at this chilis before. This was poor customer service and will think twice about returning.
Server never smiled once, was slow, disinterested and downright rude. We found ourselves having to crane our necks around constantly trying to locate him and once we did then trying to get his attention. Most of our conversation with him was to his back. He didn't offer to refill our drinks, he didn't check back with us at any point during our stay to ask if we needed anything. We had to ask for every single thing. When we confronted him he accused us of being rude from the very beginning, not by anything we actually said, but by the way we looked at him! He put a damper on an otherwise enjoyable, though overpriced, meal. We won't be going back.
I am actually a fellow server at another local Greenville franchise restaurant...I have gotten take out from this chili's 3 times in the past 2 months and ate inside once. Every time it gets worse and worse. The service is absolutely terrible!!! I mean come on, it's not that hard! Trust me, I know! Just put a fake smile, pay attention to the customer, and ALWAYS make sure they are 100% satisfied when they leave. In take away, I always wait at LEAST an extra 15 minutes for my food, the phone service is offensive and makes me feel like I'm bothering them for calling. There is never anyone at the desk when I walk in, and the place is disgusting!! I mean it's called a broom for Christ's sake. Also, I don't know who the dude was who helped me, I commend him for trying to act polite but the dude needed a chill pill. He was stressing ME out! Running around literally like a chicken without it's head! I work take out at my restaurant too, and I understand that things aren't presented the same way as they are on a plate, but seriously!? The food looks like it was dumped in the trash then put in a tray. Not only was I waiting for 30 minutes inside the restaurant for my food (curbside service does wonders people, get with it.) Not one employee even smiled my way, talk about a warm welcome. Even the other customers waiting with me said something about it. This restaurant needs a serious reality check. However long that takes, I will not be returning.
We went in on a fairly slow evening and the kitchen managed to mess up our order. My husband ordered steak, fries and apples and when his food arrived, no fries. I ordered a house salad as well as an entree and my salad didn't make it to the table until I had my entree half eaten. It took forever to get our waitresses attention to let her know about our missing food. I don't think we will be going back . Was very disappointed!!
On May 11th .our party of 4 dined at Chili's on St Andrews Blvd in Boca Raton. The food was fine. Our waitress, whose name I believe was Briella was exceptional. She was efficient, friendly, very courteous, and very welcoming to the restaurant.
Me and my family recently tried to have a pleasant dinner at the restaurant. There were tables around us fighting with the wait staff, it was freezing throughout the restaurant. We were told that the heating system was broken. I needed to use the restroom and the toilets were over-flowing and filled with waste and paper. I told the wait staff and they told me they had been aware of it for awhile. I was disgusted and flaborgasted!! I will not be returning to that location.
Went to this location for dinner tonight with a friend. He ordered the salid with chicken. Chicken was wlmost non existent and salad was at leasst 1/3 smaller than it had ever been. I had the 1/2 rack of BBQ ribs. Could not believe how few ribs there were, very little meat on the bones and it was dry. Maybe my last time to Chilis.
We ordered several salads for our office and a representative brought them to us. When we took the food from the package there was one salad missing. They did give us the salad but it was very inconvenient and someone had to drive back to the restaurant to get the salad.
Went to Chili's today with my son and friend who is pregnant with twins and craving everything! The host and waiteresses were nice and on point. The manager Daniel was really nice and even comped my pregnant friend and scoop of ice cream for her molten cake. Super nice! I'd come again.
Wait staff and hostess needs retraining. Not greeted, poor service, poor communication skills and general hospitality. Orders incorrect. Four tables were left dirty around our table while we were there. Will not return.
I came I a Saturday with a group of 7 and I was told that I had to wait for an hour !! All this said when they had over 7 tables available !! The excuse was that they was short staff and the hostess was very quick and rude!! I was seated and observed tht that section had 2 server and no one came to tell me sorry for the wait or even acknowledge me !! I felt very disrespected and unappreciated with type of service management that they offered !! The gm was there to assist and serve and only made more of an excuse for his store to be under staff !! At the end of the day I don't need to know what is malfunctioning with them I'm here for service and that situation need to addressed with the staff prep before hand !!! Won't come back even if my food was good !
My husband & I had lunch today (04/16/13) at Chili's in Greenville, NC and noticed how unkempt the restaurant was. It looked as though the floors had not been swept as there was all kinds of debris on the floor not only in the bar area where we were seated, but all the other parts of the restaurant as well. Also, the ladies room was not up to standards with paper on the floor, etc. We frequent Chili's often and was disappointed by these lower standards.
The hostess said we would have to wait 20 minutes for s booth not because there weren't any but because they didn't have any help.
I am a Vietnam veteran and have been in the service of helping people through out my life. I just read an article on my fb page that has moved me to tears of joy for you see it was of an autism child that you had catered to, I don't know when, but if true as the post says, then I am commend you and your staff for excellence of care and understanding of people. Thank you. Steven D. Houghton Houghton's Jam's & Jellies, LLC I have never eaten in a Chilies B-4, but will now go out of my way to do so. Here is the story; Chili's Grill & Bar
I want to share the experience that my husband, 7 year old autistic sister and I had today at the Chili’s location in Midvale, UT. Arianna, my little sister, didn’t waste any time when our waitress, Lauren, greeted us at our table. Arianna promptly ordered her cheeseburger with pickles, french fries, and chocolate milk before Lauren could even take our drink order. Lauren smiled and told Arianna, “Okay! I’ll be right back with your chocolate milk!”. When we got our food I was wondering why Arianna wouldn’t touch her cheeseburger, but was going to town on her french fries. I asked her, “Arianna are you going to eat your cheeseburger?” She calmly said, “No, I don’t want it.” Cheeseburgers, or ‘Krabby Patties’ as we sometimes call them, are her FAVORITE! So this behavior was VERY strange. So I asked her, “Why don’t you want it?”. She replied, “It’s broken. I need another one thats fixed.” Then it dawned on me why she wasn’t eating it. It’s because it was cut in half. Being a child with autism, she has to have certain things in a particular order at all times. One slight change in her routine can change the course of the day instantly. When Lauren came back to check on us, I asked if we could order another cheeseburger and just add it to our check. She had a concerned look on her face so I explained that Arianna has autism, and that in her mind, because the cheeseburger was cut in half, she thinks its broken and can’t eat it. I told Lauren I knew it sounded silly, but if we could just order an additional one we will gladly pay for it because there was nothing wrong with the one that was originally brought out. Lauren was so sweet and just smiled and went along with Arianna, telling her “I brought you a broken cheeseburger?! You know what, I’ll have them cook you a new one!” I loved this because rather than just taking it from the table, she actually TOLD Arianna what she was doing. While this seems insignificant, by her telling Arianna what she was doing, we avoided a melt down. The manager, Bradley Cottermole, then came to our table, kneeled down, and said to Arianna, “I heard we gave you a broken cheeseburger! I am so sorry about that! We are making you a brand new one that isn’t broken, with pickles! I’ll bring you some french fries to munch on while you’re waiting, ok?” A couple of minutes later, Lauren arrived back at our table with cheeseburger #2. Arianna said, “OH FANK YOU! You fixded my cheeseburger!” When Lauren walked away, Arianna just sat there for a second and looked at her new burger. She looked like so deep in thought....just staring at it....then she let out a big ”OH I missed you!!” and started kissing the burger over and over again. I showed Lauren this picture and said, “I think we glorified the cheeseburger too much!” She busted up laughing, and asked if she could go show her manager. She came back a minute later and said she showed everyone in the back kitchen area too, and that it made them all laugh and smile. I was so touched by this experience. Especially since I know people who have been asked to leave restaurants when their child with autism is being disruptive. I expected a few different things with this scenario based on past experiences, but I did NOT expect such kind and compassionate mannerisms from Lauren and Bradley. Everyone, from the hostess to the chef, played a role in what most people would think isn’t a big deal. But this entirely shaped how the rest of our day would go. I know...a cheeseburger cut in half literally could make or break our day. In this case thanks to the professionalism of the crew in Midvale, it made our day. And I’m sure Arianna brightened up at least one of the employees days with her silly little personality. Thank you.
Good food, good service and the sweetest waitresses, good job Lori. Very good for the Pryor area.
My sister's food was cold this happened on Saturday 23-13 she didn't want to send it back because the waitress had a bad attitude also . I don't know what's going on there put the manager really needs to be on top of things a little more ! Very dissatisfied !
My husband, son, and myself waited 45 min for 2 orders of ribs and a california club sandwich. We had to get it to go because it was taking too long. The food was cold and bad.
Today's lunch at Chili's in Calumet City was ruined by terrible service. I understand if there was a problem in the kitchen (which there was and that is why we waited forever! to get our food), but there is no excuse for the waitress to just be absent during this long wait! We had to chase a bus person or the hostess down to get a new glass of water -- AND had to let them know to send our waitress so we can get a box for extra food and to pay the bill! The $2 tip I left reflects her poor service -- not necessarily the delay in our food order.
Went in with my son and no one was at the entrance, So i took a seat. A man and two girls walked in and were seated immediately. Thinking she probably didn't see me, but not she never came back. Was super freakin pissed off! Walked out and went across to fridays. Don't understand why u hire people like that.
my son and other band kids from all over the state were participating in the honors band at NMSU over the week end and went to lunch there they let the waiter know they had to leave and get back he never came back with the change even after asking from what they tell me i felt it was done on purpose they told the kids back at band dont ever go there and i dont blame them
My sister & I had been to Dallas for 4 hr class on her cancer treatment. We decided to stop at chilis in Rockwall to relax a few mins before our long time home. We were treated so rude.Waited forever to be waited on. Never got water at all. Four couples came in after us got there orders before us. Our girl & guy waiter would walk by us & never ask if we needed anything. Finally the girl waiter stated that we were a couple we are sisters.I am 60 yrs young and have never been tested so rude. This was Feb 5th around 4:30 pm.
The most poorly managed Chili's establishment that I have ever visited. Our meal was extremely late and brought out at seperate times. The apathetic manager showed up just before we left and "went through the motions" of telling us who to contact, but it was obvious she did not care. This is probably the reason for the poor service and lack of staff motivation. Save the headache and visit Outback a few doors down.
Awesome!
This Chili's has such great service and the wait staff have always been great the times I have been to this location. 5 stars for sure.
If I could give them a star crossed out. I would...we sat here for 20 mins before even getting drinks! Then we order our chilrens food. And we have no silverware. Thank got we got a gift card.to eat there. I wouldn't waste my time in that place.
I had a very bad experience. Some of the waitress have nasty attitude's. You always recieve burnt teaxs fries and have to send them back. You're promised items and then some of the waitress what to give you a hard time about using coupons. The corparte office should look into what's going on at this resturant.
We had a terrible experience at the Meridian Chili's. Everything was filthy! Very very slow service, The foid wasnt worth the money. Would have rsther eaten at Mc Donalds!
Visited the "to go" section last night and came home to a disappointment. To start I asked for a cup of chili but was given and charged for a bowl and was told since the transaction went through, the order could not be changed. The manager did give us a coupon for a free appetizer on our next visit. When we got home, we found the nachos we ordered did not have the jalapeno peppers nor the extra guacamole we ordered. We had asked for an extra salad dressing for the grilled chicken salad and although we got two containers, they were two different types of dressing. Some pieces of the chicken were so well done we were unable to chew through it. In addition, even though this was to go --- we were given no napkins or utensils nor any ketchup for the french fries. Although I've stopped here before, I doubt I will come again -- very disappointing meal for our group of 4.
Ate dinner here on the evening of Dec 14th. That night my daughter and I became violently ill (from eating the crispy honey chipotle chicken), we threw up all night, and a good portion of the next day. Had stomach cramps so bad thought we would die. I contacted the restaurant and have yet to hear back. It was disgusting. DO NOT EAT HERE. It is unsafe and clearly they could care less what happens to the customers.
Usually if I don't post reviews. I felt the need to credit the chilis on state st in Rockford IL. For as busy as they were, we got sat immediately, our waitress (Alex) was super friendly and very prompt. We didn't have to wait for our food to arrive and our experience was wonderful! Finally a dining experience with no problems!!
We went there tonight and my husband was served a RAW hamburger!! It wasn't medium or medium rare, it was plain out RARE - it looked like they slapped it on the grill for a second and then pulled it off! It had peppers and melted cheeses on it so he took a couple of bites before he noticed and then immediately his stomach was turned. And now he's been sick tonight. I am hoping it does not escalate to something worse!
We stopped for a late lunch. There was no one there, so Chilis wasn't busy. We were greeted by a hostess who sat us front in a booth up against the windows. It took a while to see or talk to our waitress. She came and we said we would have two unsweetened ice tea, where we waited and waited. She served the tea, came back later and refilled our glasses with sweetened tea. It too another while to get fresh glasses of tea, meanwhile we received our lunch. Everything you touched was so dirty, things would stick to you hands and fingers. The oil and vinegar was so dirty, I ate my salad without dressing. I would have brought this to the waitress attention, but why bother-the windows were so dirty, you could see out of them. I kept looking at this smear of handprints. It looked like someone used the windows to wipe thir hands after eating something with BBQ. The tables were sticky, and the silverware was dirty, and had particles of dried food. I wiped the one without food to eat. I would make a comment about the service, but the waitress brought the bill, we left cash and left. She didn't give us a receipt. Will not eat at this location, no matter how hungry up I am!
