All I see is bad comments, so here is a different one. I have had to go into the Urbana office about 3 times over the past year or so, and every time the service reps have been very pleasant and helpful. Attitude has a lot to do with the service you receive. Can't be fun listening to complaints all day.
This company is the worse ever. All the people you talk to are foreign. Cant understand anything. They cheat you out of wverything and lie to you. Its worthless. My bame is austin and i have officially been fucked over by comcast

No one communicates, therefore plan to make two or three trips back and forth to their location to get anything done. I was treated a if I was te idiot, even though THREE times I tried to do as they told me, just to get a cable box. Find another provider!!!!
for Urbana addresses & ph#s are all wrong, closed or disconnected. Toll free #s give interminable waits & no call backs. Finally got an answer..."no offices in Urbana so was given an address in Champaign, I asked for a ph # so I could verify that office was actually there & open, I asked if # would get me the local office & was told yes, but that # just led back to voice mail that said all operators busy & would call back..ofcourse they did not.
Each time I've been to the Urbana Comcast office, I've had to wait over 30 minutes in line. There are only two customer service reps. You would think a company this big would care about their customers more, and have more service reps working. I've waited in shorter lines at the Driver License facility.
They are the worst.. The lines are long and the reps are very grouchy.... Their service is very overpriced and they will not honor their promotion prices.... They add so many fees onto the bill the "deal" is not longer a deal....
The customer service is absolutely horrible. I called to disconnect my service three times now and every time I'm put on hold for ten minutes just so that I can be transferred to a automated telemarketer that demands my account information. After giving my information it doesn't allow me to continue any further and each time I ask to speak to a real person they keep transferring me to this stupid machine. After I disconnect I will not be paying for their services in my new apartment. I'm absolutely fed up and now I'll have to go speak with them face to face about ending my service since my local stores phone number is "disconnected".
