Comcast Local Office
Don't bother calling the 800 number, take the time to stop into the office. The people at this location are nice, able to give discounts, and are much more helpful than the 800 number.

I stopped in the office on University Avenue and found the personnel to be very helpful and cooperative. I agree with the customers who are complaining about the customer service reps on the line. I found them to be very difficult to deal with. I had the same experience on the phone. Take a minute and go to the office.
Never been so frustrated in my entire life eith a utility provider. Where is any accountability!
I agree with everything said above. It is a shame. I am canceling my phone because I can't get anyone to help. I too am headed across town in hopes of actually taking to someone.
the joke is they always say stuff like "Your a valued customer." yeah right. always on hold. can't login to my account.
Cant agree with you more. You are on hold forever then you get send around to different reps that cant help! So frustrating.
I am overly frustrated with Comcast's lack of customer service. They were extremely unhelpful to me and at times were actually rude. I too was connected to multiple representatives, after spending insane amounts of time on hold, and they still kept passing me off to someone else. I couldn't understand many of the representatives either due to strong accents. Not helpful! I switched to DirecTV and will never use comcast again.
Over the past two days I've spent as many hours with several Comcast representatives who were absolutely worthless when it came to answering my questions. Either they don't know what their doing, or they're working in some foreign call center (can't understand them to save one's life). Also, the local call centers do not have local numbers, so I'm going to have to drive all the way across town to get some answers to my questions. I'm about ready to jettison Comcast. This level of service is really appalling.
