not good service
My Ace always treats me as if I'm the only customer in the store, however posting that hours fluctuate on the internet is not business-like as I am like the other customer here who plans their day by what time a store opens. I suppose I'll just get on the phone and call but with Ace competitors, like Home Depot and Lowes they are always open at 7am so I don't have to call.
Ace Is a place where you won't have to go searching for customer service assistance. The associates here are on top of assisting customers.
My local Ace hardware store does not put the customer first. I recently brought in an Ace ValPak coupon that had no exclusions anywhere on it, and they would not honor it, nor would they honor my Ace Rewards coupon. I ordered Ace products through them because they did not have them in stock. What gives?!
I would like the HOURS SHOWN. I can't plan my day without that knowledge. Please to it that it will be fixed. Thank you
The staff at my local Ace hardware is always very helpful. They are never too busy to take you to the item you are looking for and help you find what is best for you. I also like the home town feel of being greeted by name every time I walk through the door. The customer service there deserves an A+.
i went to my local ace hardware located in highland park, des moines, iowa. the male employees are so rude - i am a 65 year old woman and they just tell me what aisle to find what i am looking for, but the attractive young ladies are escorted to the correct aisle.
My local Ace here in Las Vegas is like your old fashion hardware store, I love it. They know you by name, don't have it? They'll get it.A few dollars more then Lowes or Home Depot, but worth that and more for the great Customer Service.
Last year I purchased a becnh/storage unit from Elliots Ace Hardware in Muskeego Wisconsin. The store manager(Mike) went the extra mile in providing superior customer service. I'm not very good with tools and Mike and his staff assembled the unit for me at no additional cost(just like the old days).
This year(2012) I had a problem with the hinge on the left side of the bench. I tried to contact the manufacturer and get a new part with no sucess. I called Ace and Mike supplied me with two new hinges at no cost to me. I told him I was not looking for anything free but he insisted on replacing the parts at no cost. I wish the rest of corporate America would operate like this.
Ace Hardware will continue to get my business and high recomendations to all my friends.
Thank you Mike.
Sincerely
Richard
