After phone service to report Fraud sucks, phone tree sucks, hold time sucks, then when connected they cannot hear you.. It sucks..
All I wanted to inquire about was the maximum cash withdrawal permitted on my debit card. Of course, none of the options offered via the recorded message pertained to me--very aggravating and still on hold/heavy call volume , 5-10 minutes so they say...then call dropped! I haven't used the phone service for years, but never a problem before.
I was on hold for 25 minutes then the rep told me I needed to speak to someone else, so I held over 30 more minutes, then I gave up!
Called to get some info on my account (to speak to a CSR) the system said it would be a wait if 10 mins, well I've been on the phone now for 23 minutes and im still holding. This has got to be one of the worst customer service experiences ever and I ah nt even spoken to anyone yet. Totally Unacceptable!!!
Waited on hold for 10 min to ask a question about account, wS hung up on twice and told I couldn't be helped another time. Every time I call the hold times are ridiculous and I can't use a banking center because I work the same hours.
There is a woman that asks you a lot of questions when you enter the bank. No why. Personal questions. Happened more than once. All I wanted was to go to a teller and do business. This does not happen at real banks.
OMG! I sent a secured message to PNC Bank directly from my online account only to be responded to and referenced by a totally different name. After I tell them that I did not view a deposit I had made she argued with me that I did. I told her then why did the email response from PNC themselves note that on occasion if THEY feel a need to view a check deposit (my deposit was CASH), that they can look at it but I pay the fee! I know it was only $3.00 but where does it end. You would think for all the confusion and the lack of personal attention, they would just want to make a customer happy and remove the fee, I had to end up before running my truck-driver mouth! Just a note....looking to make a change with my banking! Think I will head over to my local credit union!
This is for the Pnc on baltimore avenue in beltsville. The drama my son and I went through to cash his check ain"t worth the headache. The female employee who assisted Jose clearly didnt want to be at work. She was anal from the start!! WE HAVE 5 ACCTS HERE YOU CANT CASH A 158.00 check? he is 16 A MINOR remember. He doesnt have a state ID only school and recs. You treated us like we had a $2000 check. Your attitude is why we never left BofA and PNC was a add on never our primary. FACTS: HE HAS HIS OWN ACCOUNT. He displayed his debit card with his name on it. I displayed my debit card as well. You see his acct info on the computer. DOES THIS SOUND LIKE FRAUD? DO THE MATH FOR YOURSELF.
Customer Svc is a joke.
Been customer for many years of PNC ,getting tired of being nickel and dime with fees. Have line of credit, pay interest and checking account ,savings and are being hit with fees. Im going to with draw all my accoubts.
Since 4/17/13 until currently (4/26/13) attempts to reach the PNC online banking website result in a notification that the security certificate is expired or not valid, and warns against attempting to use the site. An e-mail to Customer Servide got the response "we are having technical problems, call back later if it continues". 4 days later, same problem, called Customer Service and got "yes we are having tech problems, but it has nothing to do with the security ceritificate". If this bank can't keep it's security certificate up to date, and doesn't care that they have a problem, it;'s time for a new bank.
Good luck if have any issues with pnc because customer service can barely do anything to help and if they could help it seems like they are doing us the favor.
My daughter attends Penn State Altoona. PNC is the bank for Penn State but I cannot believe they do not have a branch bank in Altoona. The closest one is 12 mi away in Roaring Spring. Altoona is a sizeable city with a Penn State campus. Why is there no PNC bank there???
