Unaware or unwilling to assist Salesmen

Based on a few different experiences with customer service at the Guelph, Ontario location; I will never buy another Hyundai! *arguments about repairs being under warrantee *telling me the car is safe to drive and is not *leaving the car there all day and it never gets looked at *telling me that my 1 year old car needs its brakes cleaned! ridiculous *refusing to even consider replacing a tire that was damaged because they did not repair the vehicle when they should have etc etc etc
I picked up my new Santa Fe on Monday evening from White Plains Hyundai and noticed that the engine was making a pinging sound and the passenger seat belt wasn't working. I was told to bring the car in to be serviced which I did on Wednesday morning. I was told on Thursday that the seat belt had been repaired but the engine had to be replaced! Needless to say, I was very upset about this. This problem existed when I picked up the car and I feel that the dealership should replace the vehicle without question. Who would expect someone to accept delivery of a new car and then replace the engine a day later!! This is not what you want people to know about your product. Very bad PR.
I had taken my Gensis in for route maintenance to the Bell Road 91st Ave location. I had drove my car home and noticed that my tires were on backwards! Front tires in the back and my back in the front! I had to take time off to get my car back in! NO reimbursement was given nor any sorry our mistake. I will not be visiting that dealership for service or to purchase another vehicle.
I have gone in several times to the Hyundai Dealership in Palmetto Bay, Miami, Florida. I have taken my Tucson 2011 for oil changes and any problems that the car has had. I deal with Jorge Damien and he always provides great service. He is always courteous, kind, respectful, honest and a great person. He never gives me any trouble and always has a smile on his face. I wish there would be more service representatives like him. I am giving this review to the headquarter so they can know what a great service representative he is and so the company knows what a great asset he is to the company!
The people on the phone were helpful and attentive. The issue is on going as the dealer is trying to diagnose the problem by replicating the urn intended acceleration of our 2009 Santa Fe. I have been given a case number. I will post again when I get more developments.
