corporates decision to do away with the self service checkout lanes is a big mistake. They should have asked customers what is more important to them, the ability to not wait in long lines with inefficient cashiers or as I was told ... to have a more interactive staff...

I think it is a shame that there is such a big difference in the price of a prescription. I called 3 acme stores and the price for the same medication was 22.00, 25.40, and 163.00. I asked the pharmacist y the big difference in his price and his remark was I DON'T KNOW. and that was it I hung up on him. His attitude was one that makes me determined not to ever give him my business. Things like that can make a person give up on a store that I have shopped at for years and years.

I have always enjoyed shopping at Acme and have never had an issue with the food or service but this past summer, I won a 100.00 gift certificate as part of a contest and never received it. I have called the store four times, reached a manager twice, and have not had a call back. I left a message on the customer service line at corporate and have not had a call back.
