Family Dollar Customer Service

I shop frequently at the local Famil Dollar at Grant and Dodge in Tucson. I went in and bought two bottles of orange juice as I noticed in the flier that it was on sale. When I got home I realized that I had been charged full price of $3.45 each instead of the 2 for $5 in the ad. I returned today and they refused to credit me as they said I had not presented the flier at the time of sale. I had the flier in my hand and even had a conversation with the clerk about the good price. they said I had not "presented the ad at the time of sale". Poor customer service. I have spent a lot of money at that store and now I will go to the Dollar Store 1 block away so Family dollar have lost a good customer. The male manager who is usually there has always been very helpful but he was not there today.

Every time I have specifically gone to the store for an advertised item. That item has not been available. Instead there is something similar shelved in the area where the sale sign is but rings up at almost twice the amount. My recent experience was dreadful. I did not realize the error until I got home, and was thinking the total was higher than I had calculated (as I bought more than I had anticipated since my daughter and granddaughter were with me). I called the store when I realized the overpayment and took the item back with the receipt. At this point the mgr first said, "Oh, you're the one that called, I wish you'd told me you were coming back." Well yes, when overcharged $3.25 paying 1/3 MORE than anticipated for one item......Then she asked me to get the item off the shelf -- sure I'll do your job.....it just went on wasting MORE of my time. I am disappointed and will no longer shop at these rip off stores. I will share with all my friends and relatives. Hope you go out of business soon, with such dishonesty!!
