La Madeleine Customer Service

I went to the LaMadeleine on SW Loop 820 in Fort Worth today to get some take out for dinner. Order the Chicken Friand and petite cesar. When the server was giving me my to go order he said, "oh, we are out of the mushroom sauce and I gave you mushroom soup instead". I had requested it on the side and also asked for extra sauce, whichi I did not receive. The cesear salad was full of dark green limp leaves...bitter. To make matters worse, I did not receive what I ordered but some spinach pastry. Needless to say, I am not happy and the food was not cheap---almost $20 for dinner, strawberries and one croisant, which was not in the bag and I had to request it. Not in a hurry to return!

I became hooked on the lemon tarts... I graduated from the mini's to the regulars, immediately!! The closest La Madeleines to me is 20 - 30 minutes so you can imagine how I felt when I drove out to the restaurant paid for my regular lemon tarts just to get home and find that the reason the crust wasn't in tact all the way around was more than just poor handling by the clerk. I tasted it and the crust wasn't the firm crust that I was used to, it was soft and soggy. But I wasn't about to drive all that way again. Truly disappointed. I would think that first, the clerk would alert me of the appearance and since she had to pick it up she had to know that something was wrong with that crust.... Disappointed...
