Really?
I love the speed of their internet & the on deman features. But the fact their internet dies every fewhours is a big pain in my ass.

no customer service at all..they will tell you anything to get you off the phone..fake service appointments et al….thats if you can understand anything the morons that work there are saying...
As Comcast gobbled up our local cable companies the service and accountability have gone down hill. i have been trying for 6 days to reach a support tech to fix my TV reception. Every time I am told a person will be with me shortly I get recycled to the opening greeting and have to start over. How can they run a business like this. Comcast sucks.
I have been trying for over a week to get my account cleared with Comcast, left messages and still no return call, finally spoke to Francis in South East Asia this morning and he tells me he has to get with someone else and he will call me back. ( JOKE) How does Comcast stay in business??? We all just want to speak to an American that can speak english and understand my problem from Knoxville Tennessee NOT Asia...
I am writing this review via wireless in residence, which I'm totally surprised works in view of the terrible service we have received regarding our TV service. Nothing but message across the screen saying "One Moment Please, Channel will available shortly". Its been one week now!!! Cant find a human being to speak to, cant get a return call and would discontinue service right now if I could figure find someone to fire!
As a manager, I provide quite a bit of business for comcast- simply because of the amount of televisions in my business. EVERYTIME I have to contact Comcast- it is the same. I can't get on the phone with a human being for at least an hour, and when I do- they read me a script for HOME service- ridiculous! Why would I want to spread this absolutly frustrating business to my house? I looked up reviews for this business- and I CAN'T BELIEVE that the owners of Comcast haven't looked at their ratings. Shows how much they care about their business. What absolute TRASH. I will be removing my business from Comcast as soon as humanly possible- Direct TV will do a MUCH BETTER JOB.
Too long to explain, after 7 years with ComCast and a complete disaster on transfering my service, I am done, completely 1000% done. I am very loyal, but when something goes incredibly wrong, I am out.
I had an appointment scheduled for today between 10 am and 12 pm. I have received neither a phone call nor a knock on my door. Your customer service representatives are a joke, especially the ones who do not have a firm grasp of the English language. He stalled by asking me ridiculous questions I had already answered and in the end told me I did not have an appointment scheduled, which is WRONG. I received an automated call yesterday reminding me of the appointment. I have been a "customer" for little more than a week and I have experienced nothing but frustration through this entire process. Your service and customer service reps. get an F-minus compared to the service I received from Cox Communications in New Orleans. I WILL be switching to AT&T or whatever other company offers service here. And I WILL spread the word every chance I get about how despicable your service is.
Right now my TV might as well be a radio. I'm only receiving audio. The picture is not displaying. I have never had that happen in my life. Hold time for customer no service is 35 min minimum. Oh and now they just hung up on me. Dish was so much better
Bad Bad Bad...6 weeks ago Comcast was outside working on the box. My cable tv hasn't worked right since. I have called more than 10 times and two service men have been out..Not Fixed Yet!! They say maintenance will call, maintenance will be out. No sign of them yet. I even stayed home 2 hours because they were suppose to call within 2 hours. They never did. It is a shame that a company like them cannot even fix something in 6 weeks, nor care that there is any problem with so their so called Customer Satisfaction!!!
I have spoken with 4 different people at Comcast in regards to "porting" my phone number and adding services. Have been told by each they would call me back by no later than the next day. This process started 2 weeks ago and I still don't have an answer and have not received ONE call back!!! Do you want my buisness or not?? Extremely frustrated!!
I just spent 1/2 hour with customer service, finally hanging up. I could not understand what the rep was saying. He didn't speak in complete sentences, he didn't pronounce his words completely, as in not completing a word with consonants, His accent was so strong it was a struggle to understand anyway. He kept giving me different prices, I couldn't understand what prices he was giving me or for what. So, I called another customer service number. Even though I called 'during the hours of operation', I got a computer message telling me that I hadn't.
8 yrs ago customer service was very good. Now you can't even get a person on the phone in a reasonable amount of time. More recently, "interruption in service" almost daily. Ready to bail. Unable to solve picture problems.....
I called the 1-888 customer service number and talked to someone who was clueless about my area. The person read through a "script" that did not fit what I was calling about and was unable to answer my questions. The person could not speak English clearly and we misunderstood each other several times. I offered to do the survey after the call and, surprise, surprise, a machine called me and asked me multiple choice questions that did not fit the issue I wanted to discuss. Comcast needs to rethink their "customer care" program.
It is sad that in the Atlanta area if you have a basic cable tv subscription service with Comcast you cannot watch the Atlanta Braves..Chicago Cubs yes, Braves no..And you cannot even watch the Turner Broadcasting System (TBS) even though Atlanta is its home! I guess it is all about the money. It costs about $50 bucks more a month to get these channels in your lineup..And if you call to downgrade, question or complain about your service or your bill you will probably get a call from Comcast to schedule a special service appointment to do "preventive maintenance" on your equipment..You think they are really concerned about your service?
I Turned on my TV at 8:00 AM and had all my channels, went back to channel 3 one hour later and it was gone from the guide, completly erased. I called to report outage and the techs sounded like I was a alien, it's not rocket science the channel has failed at the origin not at the box. It was complete missing from the channel guide and very simple to explain but it was like dealing with a used car salesman instead of customer service who wants to help, the easy response is issue a credit and wait. Some peole are bed ridden and need their televisions, I was told we will work on it, but acted like I was crazy and did'nt know what I was talking about. 1.3 is a generous rating for Comcast Customer Service
I just wasted 1 hour 46 minutes trying to speak to a person to simply change the terms of my account. This was the worst experience I've had dealing with a company in recent years. I'm a professional and wasted serious productive time doing something that should take 5 minutes.
I personally haven't had a bad experience with comcast. I like how fast my wifi is and my cable stays on unless of a power outage. Whenever I call I get the problem resolved. I like them better than others that's for sure.
We have not had Comcast for even a week, and have been on the phone with them every single day since first installed. When our Comcast was installed it was not hooked up correctly and have not had TV in The bedrooms working at all. and our main TV has been having. Many issues with the on demand. Have spent countless hours on the phone trying to resolve the issues. Comcast then says they will be to our house between 3-5 today. They called at 2:45 saying no one was at our residence when They came, however I have been here all day and they never showed up! So frustrated with them. Would NOT recommend to anyone.
While I was away for the day they installed cable 5 days ago without my request or permission, no notice on door so didn't know who or what the cable was for. Came home after dark to a cable dangling 3 ft above ground wrapped around my natural gas meter line w/ damaged fascia board on house. Still waiting for call back from supervisor bc no one has come to remove. Electric co rep tied cable to fence gate the first night so wasn't hanging low over street/traffic hazard. These people are beyond incompetent. Am considering legal action.
